The White Hart in Uttlesford

Meagre food portions of poor quality. Menu mainly pizza but not available until 4pm. Caesar salad 4 outside lettuce leaves and couple of slices of chicken but no olives, anchovies etc. Ice cream seems to have been re-frozen. Full of ice crystals. Unfriendly locals. Give it a miss.

Beautiful, quaint, very relaxing

Fabulous live band - Jack and the Giants. The place was packed and everyone had a great time. It is really good to see a small pub supporting live music.

Great meal pub was busy mid afternoon.

Dropped by for drinks and to feed the children. Beer on tap was excellent, really well kept. Kitchen was nor serving food yet, so check what time food is available before making the trip.Very nice old pub, the owners have managed to keep it friendly and traditional, not dated or grubby. Must try to get there for food one day.

Still a local free house. Couple of real ales and the usual suspects on tap. Very friendly couple who own the place. Food the the usual pub fare. Good size portions well cooked at really great prices. Def worth a visit

I stopped here for a quick visit/drink after running the Stebbing 10 mile race.Very well used by the locals & all very friendly to a visitor.I drink real ales and I saw @ least 3 on show, Adnams Ghost Ship, a local brewed IPA & the one I had which was a red ale(name was connected to Remembrance Day, but can't recall exact title!) which was very tasty indeed!! Nice & smooth.I walked down the road after, to go to the car park, but couldn't find my phone amongst my kit bag!! A local, saw me struggling with clothes, towels etc all over the pavement, offered to call my phone for me!!When we went back to the pub a few minutes later, it was still sitting on a table, untouched, but ringing away.Highly recommended 🍻

Nice local village pub selling decent range of beer and still got a pool table👍. Not eaten here due to hearing mixed views but it does busy.
