Alexander Express in Watford

Went above and beyond to deliver a pizza that was left behind by the deliveroo driver. The food was worth the wait.

Ordered a halloumi wrap and received the attached. It looks pitiful and it was stone cold. When I called them, the owner said that he prepared the food himself and it was of the highest quality and standard. You be the judge of that.

Took lamb samboussek and picante pizza by takeaway; arrived in 30 mins still warm. The samboussek definitely looks handmade but lovely mix of spices; would have gone well with some dipping sauces. Overall good flavours though!

Freezing cold food, left on the doorstep, Chef went home so Owner made the food. Disgusting, meat looked like the last dregs, pitta was stale and no salad or ingredients, nachos were like they were bought from a supplier and a puke coloured sauce that was supposed to be cheese, also stone cold. Been going to Alexander Express for a while now, not anymore. Spoke to the owner and gave feedback. Not interested and put the phone down. Go to Poblanos instead!

We order from here often and the food is always incredible, the portions sizes are generous and the food is so tasty and always arrives hot Thank you Alexander express!!!

I've ordered from Alexander express multiple times. Never disappointed. The food always arrives hot. The proportions are perfect and never leaves me feeling heavy. It always tastes fresh and cooked to perfection. It tastes homemade and never drowned in grease so great if you're looking for a healthy option. Some of the best lamb shawarma I've had! The only improvement they can make is to put the salad in a different box so it doesn't get soggy with the hot food.

First time and last time we will use Alexander Express. Terrible experience. Took three attempts to order online and when I called to check if the order had gone through they didn’t seem to care. When it finally arrived it was wrong, I called again and they kept me on hold for ages, finally offered a refund then got moody when I asked for the food instead. What they did manage to deliver was horrible - tough undercooked meat and generally tasteless. Literally threw most of it away. Trust me, give these guys a miss, there are far better places

Wonderful! First time tonight and couldn’t fault it! food was fabulous: tender lamb, lots of pleasurable unexpected additions like delicious hot sauce and mouth-watering yoghurt sauce, soft warm pitta and fresh salad. Good value and arrived In literally half the time that I expected. I will definitely be ordering again. 👍

Prompt delivery, beef cooked to perfection. Wasn't to keen on the taste though, bit blant. I'll try something spicier/more hot next time.Also, I usually eat with my hands but for steaw I think there should be some sort of cutlery included with delivery. Luckily had a spoon at my hotel room.
