Dome Cafe in Watford

Service started off ok until I got the wrong order and explained this is not what I ordered. The person serving me went onto to say do I not want my food then, I said no as this is not what I ordered, he walked off. He came back a few minutes later and then asked what I want. Eventually got the right order. When I went to pay at the end my bill was £13 however looking at the menu I realised my food should have only cost £10. When we asked about this he said it’s service, not my problem take it up with the manager and shrugged his shoulders. Rude won’t be going back again which is a shame as the cafe looks nice.

Do not go. Travelled 4 hours to wait 45 mins to be told they don’t do desi breakfast, and then they didn’t have bagels and we had to change our order again. We walked out after paying £8 for 3 drinks.

I have ordered food may times from Dome Kitchen and each time it has been fabulous. Plentiful and very tasty. Personally I would go for the Tikka Combo or the Full Breakfast both are equally good and taste so good, but equally everything else I have ordered has been very good! The staff are brilliant and accommodate wherever they can and if they have an issue with something not being available will give you extra of something else to make up for it. This is one of the best places to order from on Just Eat. If you were in any doubt I would suggest ordering you wont regret it! Regards, Arif.

Placed ordered. Got coffee after 30 minutes and half of order after 40. Two people trying to run shop and one kept going out to get food (milk and avocados). Table behind us didn’t get their full order and had been waiting over an hour. Not busy. Will not come back.

They have finally re-opened with nice brand new interior. Their halal english breakfast and coffee was really great!

It comes up as Desi Kitchen in just eat rather than Dome.Despite being in Watford and delivering to St Alban's for me, the food always arrives hot. I almost fell asleep the one evening, they rang from outside and persisted rather then left which was really appreciated!!The service has been great. More then anything, the food really is flavoursome. The Madras was hot, the lamb Rogan Josh was tender and not at all greasy.I've ordered a few times late night and early evening. It's never a long wait and arrives on time. Being open till 2 is really handy. I really enjoyed the food and that it is good value for money is a bonus 🤗I've not had problems like ordering for collection in error and then changing it for delivery like others so I can't comment but I'll post of I do. But tbh, I have with other places and that's more of a Just Eat app or Deliveroo App issue then the restaurants. In the past I've called the restaurant and got through no problems. I never call via the courier app. That's normally via some funky re-routed number and a nightmare.I guess you do only find out what the service is like when something goes wrong. Thankfully it hasn't for me, so I've only ever had a good experience with these guys 👍

Took a risky decision to order as I live 5+ miles away but it came warm and on time! Lovely little find, will definitely be ordering again! Ordered breakfast 3
