Dragon Garden in Watford

Worst customer service and RAW chicken.First of all the chicken balls were still raw and pink inside. When we called to let them know, the women on the phone was so unhelpful and told me I have to take all the food non eaten back to the shop. I already dished up all the food onto my plate. So had to put everything back in the containers to go to the shop to show them. Now as a customer who has received RAW chicken, there was no apology and no consideration to even care. Whilst in the shop, the women opened up all the food on the counter, with customers around. She accused us of eating the food (which we didn’t) and just wanting our money back. Absolutely disgusting to treat customers like way. The chicken was clearly raw. I had to go elsewhere to eat. Would NEVER return here.

Had an excellent take away yesterday. Lovely food, nice and hot and fresh. Duck was excellent.

Under new management?This had been my favourite Chinese in Watford for years! Picked up a meal the other day and I will not be returning.

Awful! The chicken in the chow mein was grey which completely put me off eating it. Chicken in black bean sauce was flavourless and the chicken was rubbery. Wouldn’t go back here if you paid me!

Dragon garden used to be a really nice place for take away....last couple of times have been bad really.Last night's took over an hour to deliver (we only live about 1.5 miles away) food was cold and they didn't deliver my prawn crackers that I paid for. Might only be prawn crackers but other Chinese give you for free but here you pay and still don't get them.

Great takeaway… As a family of 3, six dishes were plenty and enabled us to really explore the interesting menu.

Horrific food. Singapore noodles and soup just about only edible items on order.Chicken was like it had been boiled or something, surreal soggy spongey textureUsed to order here years and years ago. Big mistake to think it would be the same.

This place used to be one of the best in watford but since they changed hands its gone down hill the owner is from romania and seems nice and the rest of the staff are polite but when you call to order they insist on cash only ? The shop has had a make over but lacks the chinese authentic look and feel and most importantly the food is poor and tasteless i now use eatwell in bushey which is a more authentic chinese . Your response was that you have had the same owner for 10 years yet companies house states the new owner is Romanian and took over in June 2020

I've lived near this takeaway for 15 years and I give it a go every once in a while. I've never had a good meal from here; the meat is always either fatty or super dry. I ordered aromatic Peking duck and Singapore noodles last night and the duck was so dry my cat wouldn't touch it. Plus I'd asked them not to shred it and they clearly can't follow simple requests. The noodles are usually a win but the meat was literally lumps of fat and the veg super chunky so as to pad out the portion. In addition; the customer service sucks. The staff couldn't act more miserable if they tried. Very transactional and this level of service doesn't entice me to go back
