Been coming to this place for some years while tuning pipe organ in Christ church & St Marks church near by and have to say one thing...sausages here are heavenly. This place should be put on national heritage list just for friendly welcome and such succulent tasty sausages. It is becoming almost like tradition when to drive in Watford to stop by this place.

I’m not happy at all and won’t be going back again. The workers constantly change their prices from day to day. Today I went in and orderd a garlic chicken baguette with red onion lettuce and Mayo which is normally £4.60 I got charged £5 which I know isn’t a big deal but it’s not on. As I’m about to eat what I ordered I open the foil to find out that there was cheese in my baguette which I never asked for and is what I assume is why I got charged extra even tho I diddnt ask for cheese. What if I had a cheese allergen? Workers should listen to peoples order and give them what they want incase they end up seriously hurting someone. I will not be going back again.

Not the most appealing coffee shops in terms of the ambience and all, but the food was really good. I had English breakfast and a coffee - everything was perfect. A little pricey compare to similar cafes though.

Not being from the local area, seen eats and treats coming up on local searches and liked the look of the menu. We were down visiting the Harry Potter WB studio tour and so when Barrie, the owner told us he’d made the cakes for the set we were in awe and had to try them, even after a full breakfast! The food and cakes were excellent but the friendliness and chat with all the staff made our visit even more memorable. We had to have a picture taken with Barrie outside his amazing business. If only we didn’t live 450 miles away, we’d be there more often.

Great place, clean, quick, tasty food, and service with a smile. My sausage and bacon sandwich didn’t last 5 minutes!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food here is consistently superb. A fantastic breakfast made from high quality ingredients - proper sausages and tasty bacon cooked with evident skill. A wide selection of generously filled sandwiches, prepared to order and served in freshly baked bread. And then there's the treats to go with those eats... yum! I'm a personal fan of the homemade apple turnovers - so good! It takes a lot of self control to not order two every time I get one! It would be remiss of me not to also mention the amazing people who work here, who create a genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It may not be the cheapest place to nab some food on the street, but it's certainly the best bang for your buck. (And the best banger!) You get what you pay for and then some. One of the real stars of Watford, and one I shall continue to visit often.

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. I had the full English and it was great to taste real sausages, real bacon, real beans etc not the cheap rubbish you get in most cafes..... it didn't think cafes like this existed anymore, worth every penny. The staff were friendly and cheery.Only downside was keeping my hands off those lovely looking cakes, low carb diet 😋

Every time we’re in Watford visiting family we always try to pop into this wonderful local cafe. The owner is areally friendly man having time to stop and chat. In the past we’ve had the full English breakfast which I highly recommend. We’ve also had various sandwiches and cakes as well. All have been of a high quality. When we take our grandchildren the owner goes out of his way to make sure they’re happy. When we visited again this week he was chatting to us and remembered us from our last visit pre Covid. We had coffees, tea, home made Eccles cakes and gingerbread men for the children. Once again it was a wonderful experience. Please use this great cafe as real genuine cafes like this are few and far between.

Nice selection of drinks, they make a good lattè too.My favourite sandwich filling is the indulgent chicken and bacon mayo, salad and all stuffed into a wholemeal baguette.Obviously not forgetting the cakes and pastries, I should mention the Viennese Biscuits that are MASSIVE and homemade!Shop Local!
