Best fish and chips in watford, been coming here since I was a child, great service and a lovely place

Good fish and chips at a great price. I had a tasty cod and chips. My fish was fresh, hot and crispy. The chips were OK too. My food tasted like it was made with love. I have had this meal at other Watford chippies and unfortunately the portion size was a lot smaller than what I have come to expect.

Superb food, fresh, hot and extremely tasty. The plaice is a must, best fish and chips in Watford, and the doner kebabs are traditional and worth the money. Great menu, a good choice of foods, a very established place in Watford, speaks volumes.The curry sauce was delicious and delivery service spot on time. Lovely staff, always polite and helpful.Very reasonably priced for quality food.

Chips were all crunchy, more like crisps. They were busy so I would have expected better.

Ordered from both this restaurant and uber eats so they are both to blame. Waited 40 minutes for an order to be prepared, when the order was finally prepared they had to search for a driver. This took a while and when they finally found a driver halfway through the journey the order was cancelled. By the time it was cancelled it was already 10:30pm and I'm sure we all know most of the good takeaways on these apps close before 11 p.m. so I was left with little to no choice for my next order and ended up having to starve for the rest of the night. Very, very irritated.

I just got a battered sausage and glad that's all I got, was like chewing the sole of an old boot! It cost £1.70 and wasn't even a jumbo sausage so disappointed!

The chips are nice but the guy doesn't listen to your order. Ask for battered sausage and two large chips and asked to wait outside.Come back in he feels off my order as "two small chips" I correct him and still when I get home I open up to two large chips with no battered sausage. It's just annoying.

Best fish in town! Best chips in town! Best mayonnaise in town! Been going here for around five years and the food still tastes great! However, being a single person I felt the portion of chips were too large, and you can only order 'regular' or 'large'.

Best Fish and Chips! Beautiful fresh fish, light crispy batter and good chips.We have ours delivered and they always arrive piping hot. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Not a bad fish and chip shop; despite being far from the sea.The fish (cod) was delicious, tasted fresh, was very meaty and well sized.The chips were definitely a let down to my meal, they tasted stale and were very chewy!Portion sizes were very reasonable given the price, the total bill for fish, chips,mushy peas and a bread roll was £7.10, I thought this was more than fair.The manager was very polite and welcoming; it is also worth knowing this fish n chip shop also sells kebabs as well.
