Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Watford in Watford

It's been awhile since we last visited here and wow what an improvement to the interior decor. It looks so open and bright inside. Staff were brilliant and the food equally as good.

Waiters with no patience in serving non-English speaking people.kitchen staff all the time looking disgusted because they saw that we didn't speak english;Employees bothered by the energy of my daughter, who is 05 years old, is super extroverted, cheerful and happy, and they look like they don't like it.It just needs to improve a lot.

Was served by a bald older guy. He seemed less that thrilled to be serving us and generally gave off a really uncomfortable vibe. Was quite rude when he told us that there was not draught coke left and did not ask us if we needed anything when he served the food. Didn’t bother to come and check on us either. It felt as if we were a nuisance to be served by him! I had a chicken burger which had a mushy, soggy bun and my boyfriend had a dry beef burger. We often come here, but this time was a real let down. There was no server name available for me to see so i don’t know the man’s name unfortunately. Hoping to not be served by this man again, all around quite rude and clearly not bothered to do his job in a decent way.

Could not fault in any way. Service with a smile and so quick considering how busy they were. Tried the Lemon and Herb Salmon Risotto and was out of this world, as was the New York Cheesecake. Will def be going again :)

Lovely salad, fantastic waitress, will go again

It was busy and we hadnt booked but we were seated straight away. We could have ordered and paid via the app but the service was so good the staff took care of everything and we didn't need to. The food was good and came quickly. And the staff were delightful.We came here for dinner after having visited the Ninja Warrior playzone next door.

Really great place, we did take-away. Be prepared to wait long time for your food to be ready and make sure you check your food as we were missing pizza and had to travel back to get it. Otherwise, great service and people.oh and their takeaway is given in paper bags which will break if you don't hold your bag from the bottom.

Walked into restaurant made to wait 10 mins before even acknowledged. Then got turned away when restaurant was half empty. Got told bookings only. Then I made a booking & had to wait 45 mins for the earliest slot. Poor customer service difficult to get served or get bill. Pizzas were a bit undercooked. When I paid waiter never returned with change. I would have tipped if customer service was decent. But I made sure I got my change as I don't feel it was deserved. It felt very awkward asking for my change. The waiter had clearly kept it as he got change out his pocket.

Went in there Sunday with my wife. We waited 30 minutes to be asked what drinks we wanted as they were more interested in getting their takeaway orders sorted outHad the bbq wings to start that were ok but not a patch on TGI Fridays onesThen I had a burger which was awful and tasted really bad like it was the cheapest burgers that they broughtWon’t be returning here

F&B is one of the few places I ever returned meal. Started of bad with no non-lager drafts on offer. Ordered the Mediterranean salad with salmon. Served to the table a little on the crispy side. Sent back and returned far better, but oddly chopped. Dining area was also being used as a warehouse. One star awarded to the waiting staff who removed the salmon from the bill and were pleasant and efficient. Sadly and experience like this will prevent me from entering a F&B again. I hope Frankie or Benny are turning in their graves at this experience.
