Best local Chinese ever, i like their duck rolls. This shop was introduce by friends, best food in local.

I don't recommend it!

There are some items i always get from them and are always great in taste and quality. The special chow mein, kung po chicken, schezuan prawn, and hot and sour soup are our favourites! The prawn crackers are always crisp and fresh. Would definitely recommend!

Food is always very good. Reasonably priced. Deliver free of charge. Open every day bar Monday.

Always go here, good quality for price, nice people and great vegetarian options. There are some other good chinese takeaways in the area but they are far more expensive for the exact same quality. Our family favourite.

Very poor customer service. Ordered takeaway, decided to collect to save time, was quoted 20 mins, arrived there after 20 mins, was kept waiting further 25 mins, owner v aggressive when I complained, just argued with me and then refunded me. He was also unkempt and his clothes were dirty. I hope the kitchen is cleaner. I won't be ordering from there again.

We walked past here and got some spring rolls once after a day in London about a year ago. They were edible. Not very nice to be honest. The shop itself is disgusting and it's quite a lot of money for the quality of food. Personally I would avoid.

Horrified to see poor reviews, as the food is very good quality for the price and they ALWAYS deliver in super rapid time, often ahead of the estimate. Perfect accuracy too, as they read your order back to you. The veggie in a tizz is being culturally unreasonable.

My wife and I have been ordering from Ho Lok for the last 2 years on average twice a month. We like their food as they cater well for vegetarians. Today we ordered sweet corn soup from them and informed the lady on the phone that it should be vegetarian, i.e. no chicken. We received the soups and on my first mouthful realised that there was chicken in the soup. This is disastrous as I am vegetarian. I called Ho Lok back and informed them of the mistake. The lady on the end of the phone was helpful and said she would speak to her manager and call me back. She called back within a few minutes and said they would send me a replacement soup and she confirmed she had noted that the soup should have no chicken. Therefore, I said that I had eaten some of this soup and as I am a vegetarian this was against my religion and disastrous. As the mistake was admitted and as we were loyal customers, I asked that we be given a refund in addition to a replacement soup. We consulted her manager, who then said she would speak to her boss. Her boss would not agree to this, he said it would either be a replacement or a refund. We heard him shouting in response to our request in the background. He did not apologies and did not have any consideration for loyalty. We had to agree to a refund only and will never order from Ho Lok again merely because the boss does not understand how to give good customer service.
