Marston's Tavern in Watford

For me an overly-modernised traditional pub. Now one huge single room, extended, but with a nice outdoor space. Unfortunately it felt completely soulless and my pint of Ice Breaker IPA was far poorer than I’ve had elsewhere.Staff were pleasant but sadly this was the only positive part of my experience.

Excellent little gem in Watford. Really welcoming pub and excellent range of ales and beers. It has a lovely courtyard which is perfect in this weather. Dog friendly too!

Visited last night. Two Newcastle girls bursting with personality thoroughly enjoyed. All friendly locals, we arrived as strangers and left like friends x

Quite Back street pub prior to a Watford FC match. Good beer and the food looked good

Decent beer, standard pub food delivered hot and tasty. I had the chicken sharer as a main which was hot tasty and varied. My other 1/2 had a very decent bacon cheese burger.

Good service by the green King app, friendly service, plenty of flat screens to watch the football.

Hard to find a pub serving a good range of ales at the moment - so it was great to have a good selection of well looked after beers at the Estcourt today!
