Ocean World Fish & Chips in Watford

Terrible can’t even get chips right on a weekend rock hard and inedible none of the food is fresh just dishing up old food that’s sitting around and needs clearing never going back there much better places in Bushey and Watford used to be good this place but gone down hill now

Would not go back. Stopped off on route home to grab a large chips, food was stone cold. Note I live 2-3mins away in the car so wasn't the journey that made them cold.Large chips would normally feed multiple adults this portion would feed a couple of kids.Will be going back to the cod father in future

Good fish and chips at a great price. I had a tasty cod and chips. The cod was fresh, huge and crispy. The chips were ok too. Both the cod an chips were a little oily. I saw grime in the kitchen and the store had a funny smell. The cook who served my food used his bare hands to serve my food which made me uneasy because he had long unkept nails.

The staff lack the basic ability to fulfil an order and if you call them they could not care less used to be a great place going downhill fast

Absolutely diabolical! Ordered lamb doner with chips plus chilli and garlic sauce. Expected a doner on a pitta with salad. Got a mass of Donna meat no pitta or salad just a oad of chips on top. With a white sauce that I cant tell you what it was. All I know is it wasnt chilli or garlic which I requestedyuk🤬🤬

You don’t necessarily get what you ordered. I asked for a “lamb doner” what I got was “lamb doner and chips”. I didn’t want chips at no point was “chips” mentioned during the ordering process. I wanted pitta and salad. Careless

Ordered food last night from here, got food poisoning, the guy said it will take 5 minutes and my food was ready less than 1 minute. When i asked if it was fresh he said yes but guess what i threw away the food after few bites realising that the meal was entirely off, went here everyday for lunch but i think its off my pitstop list of quick places to eat. Avoid i believe they dont sell enough so therefore the food becomes waste instead of recording this as a waste they will continue to poison the person. Extremely dissappointed

Fresh fish and chips cooked to order not sitting on hotplate. Generous portions and good quality. Chicken Doner is also delicious. Would like to see better lighting, maintenance and cleanliness.

To be honest I always enjoy their food it always has been amazing but as I was eating the Scampi there was little orange dots on the scampi don't know if they've changed the scampi it's is awful DO NOT by the Scampi 🚫

Absolutely delicious! I was raised by the sea and this fish and chips is just as good as the ones from home! They use paper bags as well instead of plastic so it's good for the environment and the food is tasty for you!
