Rice Bowl in Watford

Absolutely ridiculously tasteless and nasty Chinese place. I am old enough to have sampled enough Chinese restaurants and this is by far the worst. Wok express was closed so had to opt for here... I smelt a cheesy smell instantly which should not be aparent with Chinese food and found it was the so called satay chicken. I don't know what was off but have never tasted anything like it. Not one hint of satay chicken. I have actually opened the door and window to air out the cheesy smell. Everything else was meh. All the other dishes tasted the same. Watery and tasteless. Coming from and working in China Town, this isnahdn down the worst and dirtiest tasting Chinese I've ever tasted in all my years.P's I never give reviews but felt this was needed

Order just received via Just Eat was not good the squid dish I ordered was dreadful and the chips, much of the food ended up in the bin.

First time I ever ordered from there, really enjoyed what I had and seems good value for money especially with everything going up in price nowadays. I had ordered salt pepper squid, szechuan chicken, satay beef, couple of rice dishes and hot n sour soup.

First time ordering from here, had a little trouble finding our address but the communication was excellent. The food was fresh and the portion sizes were spot on. Excellent value for money and absolutely delicious. My new favourite Chinese, will 100% be ordering from here again. 10/10.

First time ordering from rice bowl and will never again.Waited 2 hours for food, tried calling and no one picks up, after constantly phoning for over half an hour, I was met with the most disgusting of attitudes, was told that if we wanted food any quicker to next time go to panda cuisine.With that, cancelled our order and asked for a refund.

Service was super friendly and fast. We ordered the aromatic duck, chicken balls, sweet corn soup and some extras. All the food was excellent and well portioned. Very reasonable price for what we got. Super happy with this place, 10/10 would eat again

So glad we rediscovered this place.We have found the food good and tasty.The veg spring rolls are amazing!We will be ordering against very soon.

!!!!!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!!!I ordered a Chinese from this takeaway restaurant for my family. We all sat down to eat as my son was eating he found black straight hair in his egg-fried rice, was absolutely disgusted with this told everyone stop eating instantly, took pictures and place the hair on a prawn cracker for contrast. I called them up straight away ask for Manager who was named 'Steven' he said the owner was away in America for 4 months and said "what do u want me to do about this" offered a refund of £2.50 for the rice only! After explaining the food is on a plate and mixed with other food I cannot now eat the food at all, he said the rice was served in a container not mixed. Point blank REFUSED to see my point of view after explaining I have just spent £30 on my order I would have to order something else which would mean I would be £60 out of pocket. I asked them to refund me, refused. I asked for the driver to collect the food so I can prove this, refused. The manager said he would have to speak to owner and this reply to could be months!!??? Absolutley disgusted with the food, the customer service level was at a all time low, Steven (if that's even he's name) should not be allowed to run a business on behalf of the owner. Consequently I am £30 out of pocket with a contaminated Chinese, served from a restaurant who think this is acceptable. I would rate this - 10 if I could, it doesn't even deserve 1 star. Do not eat from here, we'll unless you want hair in your food.

First time I've had food from here and it will defiantly be the last.The food was awful, the chicken was like a week old , sweet and sour pork was disgusting smhI spent £20 and I had to bin all the food cus I couldn't eat it after a few bits.Honestly the worse Chinese we've ever had.NEVER AGAIN!!! Don't waste your money here.

Waited 2 hrs for food to be delivered. Didn t answer phone so I couldn't cancel it. The food was tasteless chicken dry and chicken balls very chewy. Gutted I wasted my money and time. I hardly touched it. Never again
