By far the best Chinese takeaway on St Albans Rd. Be sure to try the Mixed Hors d'oeuvres and the King Prawn with ginger & spring onions. Yummy!

Good food but can be hit and miss. Food can be really oily but very tasty as a treat once in a while.

Delicious food delivered when stated. Pleasantly not too much salt in the dishes! Our first time and would use again.

I'm not going to give five stars ...because that would be hard to maintain, what I will say though, is that these guys/girls consistently serve me quality HOT fresh takeaway food. I like them alot

3 hour wait for food which was over cooked and lukewarm. Customer service appalling, didn’t seem bothered when contacted them after 1.5 hrs wait, stating hadn’t even started preparing order as busy. Took 2 further calls before order arrived. Never using them again

Absolutely love Slow boat. My parents have ordered here since I was a kid. I'm now 28 & living on my own with my own family & still order from here. Staff are lovely as always, food is lovely as always. They say delivery can take up to an hour & a half on the weekends but they always deliver alot sooner. Cannot fault you guys

Instead of slow boat suggest they rename it dead-slowboat. 2.15 hours still no food and attitude of staff is disgusting. "What do you want me to do about it" was their answer when I asked how much longer my order was going to be. When it comes eventually I hope to bloody God it is out of this world. Please though, everyone, avoid diarrhoea Dave in future

Absolutely disgusting service, the food is always lovely, however expecting you to wait 2 hours for a delivery is just ridiculous, barely even an apology, chased after 1hr40 mins to be told they hadn't even started cooking it. Will not be using them again.

Delivery time was 10min earliar than I was told which was great. The crispy duck was nice. All other dishes were okay. I ate it all but I have had better. I would still come back and order again.
