The Royal Oak in Watford

Decent pub, new land and lady seem like a funky couple. Good vibe about the place. Only issue was the music inside was too loud whilst dining so hard to have a chat. But still a good place for a drink.

On Watford Heath a traditional pub that also serves decent food. Plenty of staff so no waiting and a wide variety of drinks including locally brewed cask beer. Loos clean where everything worked. It's not huge inside but they have a large marquee and lots of seating outside as well.If coming by car use the local recreation ground close by as that has ample parking

Absolutely fantastic roast dinner, very enjoyable. So filling we unfortunately didn't have space for dessert! Great Aperol Spritz too. We were under heaters in the awning area, worked perfectly for us. Our pooch was well attended to and the chef came out to say hello. Would definitely recommend.

This was a lovely day with the family and the food was excellent service was slow but they were very busy and when we got the food it was really really good would definitely go again

Brilliant beer, friendly staff. The only issue I had was that my friend's dog got better service than we did and we got really good service. Favourite pub in the Watford area by a long way.

Nice place where go to enjoy the time, beautiful cover garden at side of the bar. It is a lovely place they has staff from diferentes countries and the food is nice and tasty.The only bad think is they no has parking and is a bit difficult to found parking place.

Nice staff & quick service, but I had a roast dinner and it was very expensive. Definitely not worth the money. The menu on Sundays is short and the cutlery wasn't sharp.

Went there before a Watford game, managed to get served quickly, had the chicken burger which was really good, nice beer selection by the tap. Tables outside available.

We had heard good things about the Sunday Roast at Royal Oak so made the journey out to check it out our for ourselves. We had booked a table and had a baby with us and the staff had accommodated this for us perfectly. The food blew me away and our only wish is that we lived closer to the pub.Would recommend to everyone and if you go on a Sunday, book in advance.. it’s popular!

Very nice little pub with a great atmosphere, we went out the other day with a couple of friends and we really enjoyed the food and the band that was playing that night. We will be back!
