Disgusting fish and chips that made me sick. I had a large code and chips. The cod was hard and oily. It tasted like it was cooked the day before and refried. The chips were oily. The portion size was small.

Probs the best fish and chips I've had in Watford/Bushey. Chips are good but a lot of places have good chips - the fish was the real suprise... Cooked to perfection, not too oily, lighter batter etc. Sounds easy but not often done. Hopefully my next experience will be the same (first time Ive ordered from here so far)

Used to be a very good fish and chips shop. But there are plenty of other better ones in Watford. Was disappointed with the service. Staff looked disorganised and had to wait some time although there wasn't a queue. Will give it a miss.

Sometimes it can be rare to agree with a marketer’s claims about being the ‘best at something’. The Viking advertises itself as ‘The best fish & chips in Watford’. While I can’t confirm whether that statement is strictly true for Watford, I can confirm that the chips were the best I’ve tasted anywhere for quite a while (the only exception being my favourite chippie in Old Windsor)..... So to find somewhere that I know I can come back to again and again and enjoy their product when in the area is a bonus.If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend you come here. The portion sizes are perfect and the prices are quite reasonable. If you’re not a big eater you might find a ‘small’ chips is enough for 2.I for one will definitely be back when I’m around.

Honest chippy. My photo for their shop has over 80k views on google. Which is interesting. Food is decent although a 70p charge to use a card is far too much. Up from 50p. It makes me sad knowing that profit is being made on card charges for such a busy shop.
