Wok Express in Watford

I have ordered from this take a way numerous times in the past but not in the last few months and reading some of the most recent reviews published was very much in two minds whether to order tonite .I am so glad I ignored the reviewsMy order was for a meal for two mains , a rice , and stir fried veggiesPERFECTIONArrived freshly cooked and hot within 20 minutes of placing the orderPortions were generous as alwaysIngredients fresh and tasty and all dishes beautifully cookedIn our opinion this is one of , if not the best take away in north Watford at very reasonable pricesHighly recommend 👍

We order from here as it has a 5 star hygiene rating.Never had any issues over the years unlike some of the comments I’m reading. Always been nice Chinese Food.We always order Chicken Chow Mein, Special Fried Rice, Veg Spring rolls, seaweed, ribsMissing a star as I wish they would include complimentary prawn crackers

Consistent quality whenever ordered. Star dish is Lemon Chicken, generous portico of rice and noodles.

food is great especially mushroom chow mein, delivery is quick, boxes are exceptional; i fell into a canal and my lunch was untouched

Ordered food at 5.05pm was with me in 20 minutes..chips were like cardboard..omelette was chewy..sweet and sour sauce was like jelly. The chicken balls were ok..I won't order from there again..disappointed

Tasty food, especially the Salt and pepper squid (in Appetisers) and the House special crispy noodles (in Noodles).Only 4 stars because they don't do any Ho Fun noodle dishes or Chicken Satay noodles.Surely one of the better chinese takeaways.

I ordered from Wok Express today, was generally good, however, some of the food was not very tasty. I ordered the vegetable chow mein, I needed to add more soya sauce to it as it needed seasoning. I also ordered the beef with ginger and spring onion. The sauce tasted really nice, however, the beef was very chewy. The chicken dumplings were good, but needed more side sauce.The portions on the other hand are very good. Very filling and more than enough. The delivery was super fast and on time.

Have used wok for a long time and noticed recently that the standard of food was dropping. Just ordered this evening and will never order again! Not only was the food substandard and full of oil we had 4 public hairs in our food!!! Yuck would advise keep well away.

Spent £60 on a Family meal,30 min delivery very fast?Good portions but not up to the tastier standard of Golden Crown,which was shut for holiday,thought we would give it a go,never againNo free Prawn Crackers after spending that amount of money was very dissapointing

So we were deliberating where to order a Chinese from as it was the first time ordering in the abbots langley area and I'm pleased to say we picked a great take away. Delicious meal and fantastically well cooked. Far better than any Chinese I've had near my house so I very much hope people read this and select wok express next time they order.
