Asda in Waveney

It is what it is. An ASDA Superstore.It's clean and did impose the use of mask wearing and hand washing but as these rules have eased, so has the rules for the shop. There is still hand-wash stations on entry that can be used.They have many sections for all sorts of needs: clothes/ homewear/ entertainment/ magazines/ food/ drink/ fresh-foods/flowers etc.There are self-serve tills and face-to-face tills. There are clean public toilets as well.It is all on the one floor so easy access for both on-foot and in wheelchairs.There are cash-machines outside and taxi bays too.A massive car park accommodates all and there is a Starbucks in the carpark also, as well as a Dunelm and a petrol station (the petrol station though is card only with no little shop).ASDA itself is looking a little dated on the outside but inside is modern and bright.Fair prices throughout and helpful staff.

Don't shop with them took extra £45 from my online shop phoned them call centre is in South Africa can't get any refund. Also pork joint was off and Guinness ordered pear cider sent as substitute

I have had the worst experience of my life and have never gone through this amount of humiliation before ...I have been spoken to rudely and treated with absolute no respect and treated like a criminal when I have put an item aside to scan once shopping loaded on the scan and go explaining to staff this item hasn't scanned she implied I didn't want to scan it ...I was totally shaken up...long story paid for my shopping...couldn't wait to get out of store ...got to my car and sat and cried as was totally traumatised and took an hour to get myself together before I could drive home ...Manager called and offered 10 percent discount on future shopping ...I don't need that I would like staff to be trained to know how to treat the public

I have Morton's Neuroma, a very painful foot condition , needing to wear specialist insoles in my footwear. ASDA'S slippers are far & away the BEST I have encountered. I have paid far more at a well known High Street store, that cost more than twice price. ASDA, myself & my feet THANK YOU.

Can I please say a huge thank you to Jodie. When she saw how frantic I was due to being to late to buy pudsey ears for my 3yr old granddaughter she actually gave me the ones she was wearing. An absolute credit to your company - wish I was able to upload the picture of pure delight on Millie’s face xx

Been shopping there regularly for three months now having recently moved into the area. Always have what I want at usual low Asda prices, easy to get round with wide isles,, well lit, plenty of checkouts, friendly staff. Piped music is a tad intrusive I think but that's just me. Plenty of room in the car park, fuel is self-service only at the pumps, usually cheapest in the area. Access to it off the A12 can be a problem at peak times especially if the swing bridge is closed to traffic. Future access to site should improve significantly when the new Gull Wing Bridge opens to traffic.

Some members of staff at this place, are extremely rude, when approached to ask for help I found, so as expected I try and avoid coming to this store for any kind of reason, unless its a real emergency, and I don’t have many other options, I would like to rectify this situation, that I seem to have escalated with the shop. As I think they do sell a variety of good things here..

I would just like to say thank you for my online shopping, delivered today by Terry, and how very polite he was, also thank you for the substitutes, at least there's one person out of all supermarket's that used their knowledge to know what to put in. Like you say if you don't want the substitutes then hand them back. We will be using your services again.

Wasn't the greatest fan of this store before the pandemic, but since it started I've had numerous negative experiences, most only minor but on one trip I was rammed into in the queue by a staff member pushing a row of trolleys and then told I was in the way. I would have easily moved had I known but as someone who works long hours I can often be tired or vacant when queuing so this along with other bad instances of service and lack of product on shelves I can't really recommend shopping here if you can shop elsewhere.Hopefully will update this review more positive but as it stands it falls below it's usual standard.

Real lovely staff very helpful people good range of food ample parking good frozen food range and excellent cafe.
