Good bit food and service was Spot on, not so good bits, on entry used teabags and used spoons on counter, menus needed a wipe as did tables decor our wing obviously a work in progress, needs a little bit of TLC to upgrade it, but couldn't fault our meal (large pie) was very good value.

Lovely place, nice staff & reasonably priced.

3 of us had a full breakfast and it was brilliant, went in at 8 o'clock and it was on the table by 8 15 ,lovely lady and great service 😀

Delicious food. Th food here is excellent. I have had the best breakfast here uwoth perfect eggs, lunches cakes and the Best Sunday Roast is all a sunday roast should be with yummy yorkshire fresh cut tender meats it can't be faulted. I higjly reccomend everyone to eat in or even take away. I had to take away my desert as I was full. Its an enjoyable experience. 5 🌟 +

Had the most fantastic breakfast, complimented by a beautiful garden and perfect coffee. Highly reccomend.

We ordered bacon sandwiches and coffee. The coffee was very good but no saucer for my cup. The bacon had not been freshly cooked it was luke warm and not crispy.Before we left we used the toilets. They were dirty and the bins were overflowing.

We have been coming here for breakfast for years but after today we will not be returning. While the cafe has been refurbished the whole the soul of the place has been lostThe staff were clueless and the service was none existent.We ordered tea to not be given milk and sugar. We order a breakfast which came out wrong, no apology. Replacement was ordered and we had to prompt the staff for the change. The staff are clearly very inexperienced and not a smile or nice word to be found. We are deeply disappointed. Its always been a traditional English cafe - so sad to see its just not what it was.

I tried the mega breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Good sausages and bacon. The eggs were perfect and the service warm and friendly. Maybe I'm not so much of a fan of the coffee but it was inoffensive. I would say this represents great value for money and it's good to see black pudding included.
