Claremont Pier in Waveney
The Claremont Pier is a traditional seaside pier in Lowestoft in the English county of Suffolk. Opened in 1903 and named after nearby Claremont Road, the pier was sectioned during the war through fear it could be used for an enemy invasion.

An Edwardian pier on Lowestoft's South Beach, once featuring paddle steamers and now featuring amusements, a bar, and fish & chips.Sadly, you cannot currently walk out over the waves. But I enjoyed my chips and the service was friendly.

Nice staff and a clean tidy Edwardian promenade, the arcade is mainly 2p penny falls and a smattering of other machines. It is dimly lit, as is the British tradition, and offers a low cost seaside amusement experience similar to piers up and down the country.Perfectly acceptable but not spectacular but neither is it expensive. It's OK

The arcade is really decent some top games in there's and all in great condition every game I played everything actually worked! Ticket machines are really fair and got my girl a cpl decent bits from the toys selection. It's got a place yo get a drink, donut, rock, coffee u name it so its a good visit when in the area.

You can't go on it, it's falling down. A good arcade for holiday makers and a nightclub if you don't mind getting spiked...apparently it's rife and they don't particularly care

Nice pier, amusements, cafe, ice cream stand at the front, nothing else down the pier, I'm not sure if you can walk to the end or not.The bar above the pier looks nice, the light show at the end of October looked good.Big car park next to the entrance and a nice beach too.

Ever since new owners it's really evolved. So many games to play , staff are friendly and walking around. Such a lovely atmosphere. My favourite arcade x

Lovely place I am only giving a one star because the laser show on the 7th of august was a disappointment as we thought the lasers were going to shine in the sky but only shined on a building roof. Very disappointed :(But we love the beach very nice place to have a quick paddle with lots of air in you lungs!

Something for everyone here. The new owners have really brought this pier back to life and it's fabulous! The jewel in Kirkley's crown. A beach shop, fish and chips, 2 bars, coffee, ice creams, sports and a mega amusements arcade!
