Just the best in every way. Great food, lovely super efficient staff.

Ordered chickpea and garlic soup. Couldn't eat it was very salty and tasted quite disgusting. The cheese scone served with it made up for the vile soup

I was a regular at Earsham St cafe pre pandemic. I’m a loyalty card holder. Not been back since lockdown.Visited recently. Oh my god. The service. Absolutely dreadful.Booked (which itself was a trial to achieve, involving multiple emails and a couple of phone calls!!) 12.30 for lunch on a Monday. A quiet Monday.Ordered 1x fishcakes, 2x sandwiches. 1x tea 2x bottled water. All fine. Nothing special. We had to get up to find a waitress for attention, we had to get up to find a waitress to clear dishes, we had to get up to find a waitress to bring us the bill (twice over). What time did we manage to extract ourselves from this time-sucking experience? 3pm. Three pm.It’s a cute place and I have a lot of fond memories of it. But my advice now is: avoid avoid.

First time in this little cafe. Cheese scone with extra cheese strips and chutney. Chutney made on the premises too!Loose leaf Earl grey tea was amazing, arrived in a tea infuser pot. Tastes so much better than a tea bag!The specials menu looked amazing tooWill hopefully visit again.

Lovely cafe. Dog friendly covered and heated courtyard garden. Blankets and cushions if you're cold. Food lovely. Staff friendly. Dogs get a biscuit too. Definitely a return visit is a must.

Cosy cafe and busy. Most of the staff were friendly, others seemed to be rushing around unable to cope with amount of customers so the service was very slow. Nice coffee and my husband enjoyed his food. We ate around lunchtime so not sure what the evening service is like.

We really enjoyed the special Palestinian evening at Earsham Street Cafe. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was great. Happy to recommend.

·

Really lovely cafe. Staff were very attentive and all wore masks. I had a coffee and my wife had a pot of tea. We were able to sample what looked to be homemade cheese scones. So yummy. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. There is outside seating as well.

Had a great light lunch here, sweet chicken leg with saute potatoes and roasted peppers in a peppercorn sauce. Delicious and great service. Lovely garden to the rear.
