Family Fish Plaice in Waveney

Food normally is great when we have ordered from here the few times. The fella on the phone taking orders is clearly incompetent, didnt know how to take off the 10% from our order so guessed it (we was quids in) had to wait one hour and a half for fish and chips and sausage in batter, and even then got the order wrong, awful dried up overcooked sausages instead of sausagein batter. Advice to whoever in charge, give this fella some training otherwise he will lose you business. We are looking elsewhere.

Best skate and chips in town. Staff very friendly, delivery driver a credit to them. Highly recommend.

Friendly chap serving. Getting near to closing time, but nothing was any trouble to him.Fish was huge, batter light & crispy. No residual grease on plate. Chips were a bit soft rather than crisp, but very tasty, besides, proper chips don’t really travel well.Mushy peas good. Overall best chippy we’ve come across in this area.

Food took way over an hour to arrive. When it did the chips and fish covered in grease, chips soggy and all stuck together. Fish was NOT fresh and tasted almost perfumey. Waste of money. Couldn’t even eat all the meals. Very disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant chippy. Beautiful fish with lovely crisp batter and chips full of flavour. Generous portions too. Thankyou for a lovely dinner and fast delivery 🙂

The only chippie we could find open on a sunday, early evening. Freshly cooked haddock and chips were lovely. The two chaps working there were both very friendly and welcoming.

1.The food quality.Excellent couldn't have faulted it not to greasy and very nice batter.2.The service.Amazing!!😍I ordered my food and the chippy rang up and said they didn't have anymore chicken and asked if there was anything else I wanted I asked for a tail end of cod and they said they were happy to not charge me extra so I then said would it be alright if I have the large and pay them the rest when they come to the door they agreed.I waited for my food and they refused to take the extra money they gave us a free load of chips and a can of coke. And 2 leaflets of discounts.3.Delivery time.Spot on.

Lovely grease free chips not the usual greasy residue left on plate.My haddock was in very light crispy golden batter again fat free and served with slivers of fresh lemon.Packaging again ideal, keeping fish in box so not broken or damaged. 10 out of 10 from us.

I wrote down in my order that I wanted salt, pepper and vinegar and they didn't do that. Order did arrive before time but when it arrived it gone cold and the majority of the chips were soggy .the packaging that the chips and the fish came in (especially the fish) was unbelievably greasy. This is a straight up and honest review. That's what I felt. I'm disappointed. probably won't order from here again. Only thing they nailed bang on correctly was my Orange tango
