Gibbs Chippy in Waveney

Always ok.But my recent large Haddock must have been on a diet..No flaking chunks of meat snd nowt for the cat.Appreciate costs etc...but there seems to be big differences where to go size,cost..Perhaps a weight should be displayed or sell extra large to equate back to your previous large.Was left hungry this time for what is now,the price of a good portion Indian/Chinese takeaway.Shame.

Really good fish and chips. At the higher end of price locally, but the selection is great. Takes card payments. There is parking opposite for 2 cars and street parking close by.

Colin the owner is a really nice and friendly person. He is great at what he does and how he treats you. Shame the woman who served me on 8/4 wasn't!! She is rude and yet again tight with her portions of chips. I'll avoid when she's on!!!

First time tonight using gibby fish and chips, and I wasn't disappointed lovely cooked cod, and for once, I didn't bin my chips, they were nice as well.will be going back again

I used this chippy the other day, because was unhappy with my regular one. I was impressed with the quality of the fish and the light batter was great 👍

DELICIOUS FISH N CHIPS!!!Fresh fish in a yummy batter. We had plaice and haddock. Chips are nice too but room for improvement. Curry sauce could be better also. I had pineapple fritter here which ive never had before and it was surprisingly nice! Overall a very nice fish n chippy which you won't regret when eating on the beach. Also excellent price!!

The best chippy in Lowestoft by far. Been a customer for years and years and always receive great service and quality food. Fish is always fried to perfection and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, especially for Skate!!
