Won't give it 5 stars but certainly warrants 4+ My iced bun was very good, very fresh & fruity. My pot of tea was fine - hot & tasty. The decor is very dated but clean & tidy. Good choice of hot & cold savouries and desserts on display. Superb looking cooked breakfast being prepared as I waited for my snack. Almost made me change my order! Unfortunately I had already had breakfast. Pricing is excellent & the place was packed. As soon as we got up from our table a couple quickly jumped in - says it all really. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in the area. Won't bother looking for alternatives.

Visited last week 2nd time.. I am not happy with the breakfast I ordered.. but 1st visit was awesome

2 adults 2 kids, sampled a selection. All brilliantly baked, well priced. Friendly staff.

Eat in. Friendly but will stick to timelines rather than extend service despite time in queue... i.e. cookers off at 2pm. No can't do heated food at 2.01pm. A good brew however, and the bakery take out looks first class.

Good traditional bakery selling cakes, hot savories, filled rolls etc. as well as bread. Also offering a sit down service to eat on the premises. Encouraging to see a thriving business doing well on Lowestoft High Street.

Lovely traditional cafe and takeaway. Reasonable prices, good portions, good choices. Large premises with a public WC. The takeaway cakes are large and well priced. Not sure they will survive the pandemic though
