Had an excellent lunch here today. Squid and prawn starter dishes with a pork belly main course were well cooked and tasty. Pensioners two courses for a tenner was great value. Friendly efficient service with a smile, recommended. Factory shop next door worth a visit

We called in for a bite to eat and how glad we were !! Although not an extensive menu there was enough to choose from to satisfy most folk. We decided to have the belly pork with soy and honey glaze with sweet potato mash and greens and what a delight it was .it was so tasty we just wish we had tried here earlier in our holiday.

This place was such a real place to be. We stayed in the room, the staff were lovely, helpful, and friendly. The food was flexible so they did meals for my allergies, for us being vegetarian and tasty meals. I loved it.

Much improved on what it was at least you don’t stick to carpet now. still seems like a non league football club bar staff friendly but can fill a bit clicky with locals around serving area never a sign of licensees only 2 beers on offer GK ipa and wheery shame when there are lots of good small breweries in these parts

This is a great traditional pub and ticks all the boxes. There is ample parking outside and a good size outdoor area. The food is good home cooked food and is brilliant value. The actual pub has character, charm and is clean. The staff are very well trained and can't do enough for you.Families and dogs are also welcome. The only thing we was disappointed with is that we hadn't been here before.

Went for Sunday lunch. I had the pork roast, it was so yummy. The roast potatoes were out of this world, the best I have tasted. Warm an friendly atmosphere.

Loved my stay beautiful surroundings. Dinner was perfect. Only complaint was our waiter at breakfast needs more training he didn't clear plates and just filled up the table with more stuff? And didn't return to ask if we needed anything else so I had to get up and look around for help. My food got cold and was left uneaten.

Nice friendly staff and a lovely place to visit meals we're delicious

Landlord was very welcoming and the mains were very good, what let's this place down is the prices, we thought that £11: each for the mains was 3 or 4 pounds more than it was elsewhere we go and then £5:95 for the deserts was definitely overpriced and smaller portions than we were expecting. We would probably return if we were in the area, and try out the Sunday roast because that did seem to be on an offer. They also do senior citizens lunch deals, but couldn't say how old you have to be to get one, you have to look older than we do!
