Absolutely great experience eating here today, the food was amazing we both had steaks which were cooked to perfection. All the staff were lovely especially Ellie and Mel made us feel welcome and were both great with my son. Highly recommend if I lived closer this would definitely be a place I would visit frequentlyWell done

So found this lovely pub whilst having a walk around Kessingland, it was about a 25 minute walk from Kessingland Beach Holiday Park.By the time we found this we actually fancied something to eat, but unfortunately for us, it was a Monday and it transpired they only sell food Wednesday to Sunday. We were surprised how huge the pub was. The inside was clean, bright and tidy with a pool table. The staff were very friendly too.We ordered a pint of Carling Black Fruits and one of my favourites, but difficult to find, a pint of Caffrey's Irish Ale on draught. We sat in the sunshine in the large enclosed beer garden. At the time they were setting up some form of stage and all we can say is.. whatever event they are holding will no doubt be a great experience with a great atmosphere.Totally recommend visiting here and would certainly return if in the area.

A good value carvery & friendly pub. We visited with our family, 8 covers in all, and enjoyed a good roast meal - and drinks afterwards.I’d say the food was par for a pub carvery, but that isn’t meant as a criticism. Nobody left complaining - and that hit the mark for us.There was a local female band playing in the bar, classic rock standards - done quite well in fairness.Would certainly visit again.

My husband and I and our two boys booked in for the Sunday lunch carvery and it was superb. The food was fresh and plentiful and the staff were lovely and attentive. The place has a nice calm atmosphere. All in all we would highly recommend.

Sunday carvery...very generous and all freshly cooked with a large variety of vegetables, excellent roast potatoes. Good value for money and delicious .

We turned up with no booking and was initially seated in the bar area as the restaurant area was closed. My autistic daughter started to have a meltdown due to the noise and the staff were so lovely and opened the restaurant area for us. If this wasn't worth a five star review, the food was superb, cooked fresh and nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to Mel and all the staff! We will definitely be back again.

Great public house, friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyed a soft drink and chips whilst here. Facilities for my horse were a wonderful addition

Five stars for the waitress’s and one for meal which couldn’t eat …plate full of vegetables 2 roasts and 2 parsnips and 2 pieces of meat slapped on top …presentation is absolutely shocking would not recommend
