We turned up with no booking and was initially seated in the bar area as the restaurant area was closed. My autistic daughter started to have a meltdown due to the noise and the staff were so lovely and opened the restaurant area for us. If this wasn't worth a five star review, the food was superb, cooked fresh and nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to Mel and all the staff! We will definitely be back again.

No disabled toilets or any toilet suitable for a wheelchair, if you enter by disabled parking you then have to go out of pub and round through gate and double doors that both need to be open for wheelchair (second door is bolted on inside) assistance is required to get to a toilet that most wheelchair users cannot access.

Great public house, friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyed a soft drink and chips whilst here. Facilities for my horse were a wonderful addition

Five stars for the waitress’s and one for meal which couldn’t eat …plate full of vegetables 2 roasts and 2 parsnips and 2 pieces of meat slapped on top …presentation is absolutely shocking would not recommend

Great selection of dishes for different tastes. My stake was cooked to perfection and my friend's lasagna was scrumptious. All dishes are served with yummy fries. The staff was very accommodating and fitted us in on a short notice!

Warm welcome at this dog friendly pub, good menu and good facilities , short walk from a campsite and the Africa Alive attraction, and about 3/4 mile from beach

Limited menu but the food was Great with great service, dropped in on a Sunday evening on a whim and had a good meal with great service . Friendly waitress and well cooked food , didn't have to wait for too long either...The steak burgers are particularly nice, but my Gammon steak and chips were done just right as well, my wife enjoyed the thai chicken curry . The kids menu is simple but well cooked...I believe the pub is under new management this year ... So old reviews may not apply.
