Waited for over 2 hours for delivery and when it arrived it was absolutely minging. Everything just tasted of salt and was virtually inedible. Will definitely not be using again, disgusting waste of £50

I really don't understand why there are so many bad reviews?We have ordered from this place a number of times over the years and have always found the food to be excellent.It's always fresh and delicious with large servings given.They have a great range of vegetarian dishes and their mock meats are really delicious.So far we can't fault China Star.

Very good food, piping hot when it turned up.Was told as busy expect up to 2 hours for delivery,but was less than half that. Would definitely recommend to others.

Phoned for an order lady was super helpful making sure 2 of the meals were changed to ensure they were vegan delivered on time all hot and tasty will definitely order from here again

NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT THERE FOODWE HAD TO WAIT WELL OVER AN HOUR FOR OUR DELIVERY AND WHEN IT FINALLY ARRIVED I WISH IT HADNT. THERE WAS SO MUCH CONDENSATION IN THE PACKAGING , IT WAS SOGGY AND COLD !!!TOTAL WASTE OF FOOD AND IT WAS £33.50

My normal chinese was closed so thought I'd try this won't be ordering again. The chips were cold and soggy it was meant to have king prawns in dish there was one king prawn it wasent tasty at all needles to say it went in bin £17 wasted

Always at least a 2 hour wait for delivery, I understand they are busy but try using more delivery drivers like other business's do.On the flip side the food is always piping hot 🔥 and of great quality well worth the wait imo. I can highly recommend the Singapore chow mein with sauce and the salt and pepper chips. Mmmmm to die for !We have learnt to order at least 1.5 hours before you require it or just go and collect it.

What a joke appreciate the free gift but that doesn't make up for raw prawns and the worst soup I have ever had could just taste msg formoney I would rather throw the money down the drain
