So great to arrive with no queue, on good Friday. Everything cooked to order. Great portions and batter on fish just right and really crispy. Fab Easter fish dinner.

Lovely fish and chips + mushy peas and a pot of tea, what more could you want on a cold and wet morning, fabulous highly recommended even let people in with their dogs, excellent.

·

Probably the best fish and chips we have ever had. Really good portions matched by exceptional quality. The service was friendly and fantastic too.

·

Lovely cook fish and chips. Friendly staff. Clean and well kept premises. We go here every time we visit southwold. Would highly recommend. Could do with a little light outside for takeaway entrance

·

Dined in here recently, excellent food and service, very fresh and they sold Adnams bitter as well

·

Nice fish and chips. One of the best.

Reasonable chips at a good price. Am on holiday in the area and have been here a couple of times to take chips down to the beech as the price is significantly better then on the sea front. Not sure what size potatoes they use but the chips are mostly small and crunchy, not many larger chips - which is my preference.Fish was good and well cooked, sausages were also good according to my youngest.Be prepared to wait a while too at busier times.

Excellent food and service! Massive piece of fish, fluffy chips and good hot tea. Surely the best fish and chips in Southwold and at a reasonable price(much better value than the rest)Well worth a visit!!!!!

·

Excellent fish and chips, we had place and rock, all cooked to perfection. Service very good, Sue extremely friendly, polite and very attentive . Thank you to Sue and our chef.

Great seaside fish and chips. Freshly cooked fish, not pre cooked and sat in a hot cupboard. Has some seating or takeaway. Good value comparable with other similar fish and chip shops. Friendly staff. A small wait should be expected as food is cooked to order. You can watch it being dipped in batter and then fried.Hope to be able to visit again. And I thought it was well named. And the essential wooden forks.
