Excellent food and atmosphere, staff all very attentive

Meal was good, tasty, well presented and good portion size. Service was also good. A bit disappointed that the menu was essentially the same as it was when we last went in October 21(ended up having more or less the same meal). Also disappointed that there was no non/ low alcoholic beer. Seems to have stood still.

Visited Mark G last night and wow. Beautiful place and amazing food. The service was first class and I would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

We visited the restaurant 30/12/21. All of us had great meals including roasted pollock, cod cheek and prawn curry, mussels and smoked haddock. All dishes were nicely presented. Atmosphere in restaurant was relaxed and staff friendly and attentive. An enjoyable night out and we will certainly be back again.

Fabulous restaurant. Great service and sublime food. Also cracking value for the quality. From the December menu I started with King prawns and followed with Hake Steak. Both dishes were generous and perfectly cooked. I'd thoroughly recommend it, can't believe there's a better restaurant in Lowestoft.

The meal at Mark G was very nice, but the venue needs better heating, it was cold and got uncomfortable as the meal went on, better heating us needed

New venue but same excellent food and great service as we've come to expect from MarkG. The menu has a brilliant range to suit all tastes, including plant based options too, and is complemented by a clutch of tantalising specials.Top drawer. Give it a visit.

Excellent food, service and ambience, and Lacon's beer, at a fair price. Will go again.
