I’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years, every time I visit Southwold. It’s the friendliest butcher I’ve ever been to, with all members of staff knowledgeable and helpful. They make great things that are oven ready such as amazing chicken kievs, and venison and beef Wellingtons. It’s all locally reared and they have a good supply of local venison. The prices are very good too so all in all a winner!

How much better can a local butchers shop get? Mills is fast becoming a 'destination' for visitors to beautiful Southwold; it simply has class; combining tradition with the highest quality meat, beautifully presented. Combine this with delicious cheeses and the youth of the owners and this place can't be beaten. It wouldn't be out of place on Marylebone High Street!

Ist class butchers butJust had a large steak and ale pie this was very disappointing only 3 pieces of meat in my half of the pie, gravy and pastry was delicious, perhaps meat was all in the other end.On a whole meat content was poor for the price it cost. Not worth that amount of money greatly Over priced I ve had better at two thirds of price

Best meat under the sun! Everything you need for a cracking dinner, as well as a wonderful cheese counter, bread, baked goods and other goodies. The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is cosy.

Super, super, super. Could stand in the doorway all day! What delicious aroma's. Quality produce vended the old fashioned way. Passion, knowledge, quality produce and customer service. I'd move to Southwold!!! 😎

Superb! A fantastic butcher - amongst, if not the best I have ever visited. Also superb cheese. All in all quite wonderful.
