Spent 2 nights. Family room was very spacious and clean. With bath so good for children. Sea views and straight onto the parade and beach. Car park available just put registration number into hotel system. Nice bar area with very friendly staff. Ate in restaurant both nights. Menu was OK with some specials on Sat eve. Food was good. Carvery until 6pm on Sunday (we ate from menu in eve). One waitress on Saturday eve was exceptional and great with our poorly child. She was new and very attentive. On the second night the service was not as good by the young men on rota. Loads of staff on service but spent more time chatting than taking orders and got our drinks orders wrong. Friendly when finally engaged with us though. After cavery clear down the kitchen staff member thought it would be appropriate to bleach and mop the floor right next to our table whilst we were finishing our drinks and we had to move to the bar. Splashing bleach near customers especially children is never acceptable and this was a disappointing end to our lovely staff. Overall hotel is good and would stay again.

Such a great place. Have hosted two birthday parties there: one in the library and one in the large venue downstairs. Staff are friendly and kind. I love going there for a cup of tea and slice of coffee cake. Their food is also great, especially their roast on a Sunday. We try to have it at least once a month.

I have had the best fish and chips and Sunday roast I have ever had in England. Friendly staff , reasonable prices and warm atmosphere. Also big advantage is the view to the seaside . I had a feeling being back to Turkey where my husband is from . He noticed that too . Many thanks to the chef . Will probably try staying at the hotel too .

I had my daughters christening here and the staff especially Shelley were amazing! The food was so delicious and all our guests thought the venue was outstanding! We had such an amazing time here! HIGHLY recommend for weddings/christenings etc! Definitely will be using again for family parties in future! :D

We visited the fish and chip restaurant LTE. Nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great food. We usually share as portions are large for us. Kids menu available. Other options than fish and chips available. Highly recommended.

We had a private room booked for my nan's wake. We had the sparkling afternoon tea; the food was very nice and sooo much cake! The staff were all very nice and friendly, made sure we were looked after.

Staff very nice but we were given chicken which was frozen inside. My desert was forgotten and when it’s arrived it’s appeared that ice cream was really very poor quality. I will go again for coffee/ tea but not for a meal/ desert. Price also to high. But staff very nice and view was lovely.

Lovely place, waited by an amazing 5ft 9 man, named 'Elliot' who was amazing and kept up to all my needs, however ordered fish and chips, and tried to order a Stella, however didn't have the drink and the fish was scrummy but the chips were inedible. Went to the bathroom to urinate, and it smelt like cat p**s and there was urine everywhere. 1 star extra for the service, however the place was mid.

The hotel staff very friendly. Very helpful. Breakfast adequate. Local sausage very poor, Needs new subplier. We did enjoy our very short stay on our way home from bowls weekend.

We attended a Marriage of two lovely ladies. We welcomed and shown our way through the hotel. The atmosphere was really relaxing. The service was in the library and was a comfortable size for the function and the portions were large. The beach is just over the promenade and makes for a romantic setting. Great place for a wedding or maybe a light bite and a beer or maybe even a cocktail or 2. Oh and the serving staff were friendly and bubbly just like the bucks fizz
