Oakfired at Royal Oak in Waveney

Had the opportunity to enjoy the most delicious and authentic Italian pizzas when we visited Oak Fired at the Royal Oak.Fantastic dough and epic tasting tomato sauce on these wonderfully fired pizzas, better than I had Italy to be honest, no wonder this great team continues to win awards. Relaxed atmosphere (and some amazing gin selections) help it all go down very well indeed.Can't wait to return 🍕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely highly recommended for pizza's!! We ordered 14 takeaway pizzas as we were staying at the Three Rivers Campsite, its 9 mins down the road, they were extremely accommodating for a large order and pizza's were fabulous!!

Had dinner here the weekend before last. It's situated in Beccles Town, a short stroll away from car parking (5 mins)It's a clean, welcoming resturant with friendly staff. The pizza's look, smell delicious (coming from an Italian background myself). But I did find the pasta dish was quite bland and the calamari very chewy. Apart from that, we recieved excellent servise.

Yummy, yummy!!!Excellent service, delicious pizza!We came as a family of five. We had dough balls as a starter and a pizza each. This is definitely the best pizza we’ve ever eaten in England! The owners are friendly. We enjoyed a little chat with them about the flag on the wall near the door and how one of them became a pizzaiolo.

New restaurant to eat at as new to the area. Both of us agree the pizzas were best we have eaten for long time - friendly service, reasonable prices, all round excellent. Highly recommend 👍

Food was good, although the young lad serving got our order wrong twice.We visited early at 5pm when they had just opened so we were the only people in the restaurant so no atmosphere. Bit frustrating that with 6 adults and a baby booked in we were seated at 2 small tables which meant we had to keep moving things off the table to allow space.Hopefully this is not standard, and the pizza was delicious so worth a visit or at least get a takeaway.

Had a takeaway, very fine pizzas, dough balls and cheesecake. Friendly service. Beautiful tasty tomatoes that you rarely get in England. Reckon this would pass muster in Italy though the locals might balk a bit at the prices...

Great food and service as usual. Fantastic that they offer a gluten free, cheese free pizza too. And the homemade puds. We sent a photo of the cheesecake to our daughter who lives away. Without sharing her exact words, she was not happy & well jealous.Really worth a visit. Icebreaker beer too!Thankyou.

Perfect pizzas, friendly owners.I've visited almost every week for 4 years (as at Nov 21) and enjoyed best ever pizzas consistently. Cooking in an Oak fired oven gives an unbeatably distinctive flavour.

Had an excellent meal as part of a large family booking. Food was excellent, pizzas especially were delicious.I'd recommend it very highly.
