Oulton Road Chip Shop in Waveney

The people who work at this shop are a family and they welcome you into the family when you walk through the door. The staff are polite and always up for a laugh.Not only are the staff welcoming but the food they provide is amazing. You definitely won't be left feeling hungry as the portion sizes are bigger then expected. I do and will continue to recommend this shop to everyone I know.

Don't usually do reviews but this IS the BEST chip shop I have ever been too, everything is cooked to perfection, the staff are lovely and the food is always quick and amazing! Me myself it has to be the chips curry and cheese! I don't want to give 5 stars I want to give 5 million stars! Well done to everyone at oulton road chippy, you all deserve a round of applause for being the best 👌

We were there at 6 o'clock on a Saturday evening and they were very busy. Always a good sign, I feel. The food was delicious, my only complaint on that score was that they were very hit and miss about whether you got offered salt and vinegar, and you only got it on the chips, whereas I would have liked it on my fish as well. That said, there was a slice of lemon in with the fish, which was nearly as good. I would definitely buy from here again, although next time I would probably have it delivered, just so that I didnt have to stand and queue.

The best chippy I’ve had. The chicken burgers are insane and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this chip shop to anyone that comes this way. Thank you everyone.

Amazing food and staff. Very knowledgable regarding allergies. Wide range of gluten and dairy free food. Never had any issues eating there. Highly recommend.

Thought we would try somewhere new, everything was unreal! The curry sauce omg! The medium fish is massive, tastes amazing... I thought fish and chips are just fish and chips, but in all my life I've never had one like tonight's. New favourite!

Tonight we went to Oulton Fish & Chip shop near Lowestoft for Fish and Chips. I was absolutely amazed at the attention to detail, care and passion the staff had.They were very friendly and the freshness and quality of the fish and chips was outstanding and probably the best I have ever tasted. The portion size was huge.I most definitely recommend them. We received some chicken nuggets as an extra which were also great. What an amazing treat.
