Great food. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Chips are half cooked, a couple of minutes longer in the fryer and they would be fine, fish leaks a lot of water when cut into, i had a small puddle on my tray which i had to drain off, gravy is bisto granules, done with a jug and a kettle of hot water and then poured into a tub, my advice is spend your money elsewhere, this place isn't worthy of it, and its not cheap.

Ordered the ÂŁ8 deal where you get a piece of fish, chips, mushy peas and a mug of tea. Disappointed with the size of the fish (Haddock), it was very small. Better value elsewhere.

Wonderful fish and chips piping hot i shouldn't say this but probably too much for normal person to eat price is just as good, brilliant service from staff

We have fish and chips from Perry’s most weeks and are delicious but tonite was very disappointing they came half an hour late my sausage was cold and not edible hubby’s fish was dry and we were a portion of chips short, the delivery driver said they were short manned and he just delivered 5 orders ours were obviously the last drop as they were cold, I hope this is a one off as we normally we have no problems with Perry’s

Very Nice, I had a Large portion of Haddocks and Chips, and it was very large, I could hardly eat it all. Great value for money.

This is definitely my favourite Chip Shop when I visist Lowestoft. Just as fresh, tasty and authentic that you would expect from a Seaside Chip Shop.Great prices and great portions.Staff friendly

Great fish and chip shop just off the main shopping area in Lowestoft and the right end of town for those on the beach. Worth the 5 minute walk from the beach for a delicious fish and chip lunch. 3 sizes of restaurant meals include a good choice of fish, chips, side, bread & butter and tea/coffee for a great price. The staff are really friendly. Highly recommended.

We visited Lowestoft as a family at the end of the half term week with a plan to do some shopping in the morning. We'd done a quick bit of research in advance and based on other people's reviews had decided to pop into Perry's on our way back to depositing the shopping in the car.Perry's is just off one end of the main shopping street and, it has to be said, the restaurant doesn't look terribly promising from the outside. However, we decided to trust in the reviews and after determining that there were spare seats inside we went in.The seating area is a bit cramped (we had to split our party of five across two tables in order to get a high chair for our two year old out of the aisle) and I'm not sure you'd fit a wheelchair in there (or at least not easily) and the decor a bit plain aside from pictures of the locality.Fortunately, the thing you're actually there for, the fish and chips, is a winner. We've been to quite a couple of seaside fish & chip shops over the past few years and been disappointed that the fare wasn't at the very least as good as that we normally get from our local chippy. Not so at Perry's. This is probably the first place we've come across that rivals, or possibly even betters, the fish and chips we are used to from home. The adults in the party all went for the large fish and chips, although with the size of the portions we should probably have gone for medium as we all ended up leaving a few chips on the plate (the fish was too good to leave uneaten) and if we were to be in Lowestoft again we'd definitely be back for more.Possibly the only real criticism I'd have of Perry's is that perhaps the serving staff could ask customers whether they want the drinks straight away or when the food is ready. The teas we had with our meal were brought out quite quickly but as the meals were cook to order we'd finished them before the food arrived and they'd probably have been cold if we'd not drunk them when they arrived. In terms of facilities, there was seating for around 30 people, if memory serves me correctly. There was one high chair available for use and I saw one booster seat as well.

fabulous place! very clean, lovely staff, the best fish& chips i have eaten in years, not greasy..just fresh fish no bones (cod) fabulous well cooked chips and baked beans..yum yum; and the best mug of proper tea i have drank in many years. an extensive menu is available, i ate in but if you wish take aways are fine. what a fabulous asset to lowestoft this well run clean establishment is; if ONLY great Yarmouth had anything as remotely good! they do not!! very highly recommended. bravo to owners and staff a delightful experience. all so the prices are very reasonable, exellent value for money; support a good local business run by local people.
