The Cod House Beccles.Best Fish and Chips in the UK.Ask for a large cod. Perfectly cooked and succulent. Friendly staff, no stress. They give you a bleeper which bleeps when your order is done. Popular with the locals and the visiting river boats on the Quay.My only gripe is they don't have Onion Vinegar which would make the place perfect.🤗👍 (They also do Chip Butties) The chips are perfectly cooked and whole, not bitty like some other places. I did so for onion Vinegar but they don't do it but hey, can't have everything.

Best cod and chips in Waveney Valley (and I've been working my way through the list). Fresh, fresh fish. 'Slap' chips, not at all greasy. Really tasty potatoes. Generous portions. Looking forward to round 2.

Yet another fantastic tea from my local chip shop. I emailed my order went to collect, but was told there was a small problem and a little wait. I said no problem, when I got home to find a note on chips "sorry for the delay" and 2 free sausages!!! Was not expecting that, fantastic service as always and lovely tasting food yet again.
