Sole Bay in Waveney

Excellent service, phone the order through and collected it fantastic size portions reasonable at prices.

Food was warm not hot and really didn't look very appetizing. Fish ok but Chips not the best we have had .Gone downhill a lot since it first opened.People used to be queuing up outside the door but not any more.Disappointed probably wouldn't go there no more .

Unfortunately didn't have the best experience, a few problems with my order on consecutive occasions

Battered fresh mushrooms were a big hit! Food was hot fresh and reasonably priced. Good menu.

Lovely fish and chip shop best in the area

Some of the best fish and chips we have had in a very long time. Definitely return again. Staff very friendly too.

No issue with the quality or quantity of food but (isn't there always one of those!) the service was lamentably slow - 15 minutes just to order a portion of chips and that was only after I decided to ask for a refund and go somewhere else. Granted, it was early Friday evening and therefore hugely busy but I can see this chippies problem - it gives preference to phone in orders over walk in customers, nor does it have enough staff on those busy evenings. Unless you're willing to wait a long time, either phone in or go somewhere else.

Tonight I had the worst fish and chips ever in my life from sole bay and I can swear by it .Fish was well overcooked I couldn't even taste it. It was an absolute disgrace, never going to order from sole bay again, I'm not even sorry for the negative feedback, it was a complete shambles.

Had medium skate, medium chips and a small sausage from here on 14/02/2020.Very nice and not greasy.Very busy but the queue moved very quickly.Staff were very friendly.The place was very clean.Reasonably priced.Highly recommend 👍 😊
