Very nice steak lunch and Adnams beer in this clean and friendly dog friendly pub.

Good food, welcoming and friendly staff, tasty drinks, uncomfortable chairs. Generally good but I'd have stayed longer if it wasn't for the wooden chairs. But that's the only criticism of a good pub.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a pint staff where extremely helpful recommended the daily. special fish cakes that where delicious would definitely recommended. Will be back here soon

Great pub!! Has the mothership of Adnams beers on tap. Food was excellent. We had the baguettes, the bread was fresh and delicious! Surroundings are lovely, it’s a very popular place and seating was limited inside. A must visit if you can get a seat and are in the area.

Had some lunch here today. Not too crowded but all inside tables were full. Owners kept front door of the pub open and had windows open for air to circulate. Food was hot and tasty we had chicken pie with new potatoes & veg and chicken curry. Decided to have a pint of Old Ale very nice with my wife having Ghost Ship. Staff were friendly and polite and the toliets were clean. Overall a very enjoyable lunchtime experience.

Could have sat here all day! Buzzy atmosphere, very comfortable, very friendly staff.Very well kept beer. Its nice coming this time of year not as mad!!!

A lovely pub, which is definitely worth a visit, the pub is situated next to Southwold Lighthouse and can’t be missed, a great pub to sit outside on a sun drenched day and watch the world go by…
