2021.Traditional homely tasty, hot and cold food, lovely welcoming staff, variations of the food on menu possible it would seem. Wish I had found this place sooner in my holiday. Going back again for sure!2022.Another holiday and this place was on our itinerary. Excellent, properly hot good food. Not sure I want to eat for the rest of the day 😉

Had a lovely spot of lunch on what was a cold & windy day in town. The food was very tasty & decent size portion too! The staff were friendly & polite and were doing a great job as there wasn’t a spare seat in the restaurant.

Top quality cream tea with fresh, warm scones and just the right amount of cream and jam. The sweet shop is a great bonus!

We had a lovely meal here. My husband had steak and ale pie with 5 fresh vegetables. He said it was delicious. I had vegetable lasagne which was full of vegetables and very tasty. It came with a small salad and garlic bread. Really good value for money and very generous portions. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The lunches were simple, classic lunches. Affordable baps, soup and sarnies that you could make at your Airbnb using ingredients from the local Tesco Express.

Cute little tea shop in the back of a sweet shop. Excellent VFM, lovely food and home made cakes. Bare in mind there are only 4 tables in here, it's tiny

Tried here for the first time, set in a room behind the sweet shop, cosy environment, staff are all very friendly and very happy, they welcome you with a smile and chat. Had breakfast here which was lovely and priced reasonably, they had a good selection of sandwiches as well and also had different cakes available. Will be going back next time we are in southwold.

A great little tea room in the heart of Southwold, with added bonus of having a sweet shop there as well. We sat and had a pot of Tea with cream scone and jam which was really good. The only thing that let them down it that whilst they have a sign out the front saying card payment preferred due to covid, none of the staff were wearing masks and even in the tea room area, staff delivered the drinks and scones to the table without masks on. Also none of the windows were open allowing for ventilation.Would I go there again, yes! However please look at the better ventilation in the tea room, and also whilst it is not mandatory to wear masks, please do, especially when you have signs up saying card payments prefered.

Very cute sweet shop with cafe in the back. Food very good and good value. Staff friendly. Also allowed my dog to sit with us in the cafe. Light menu and cakes avaliable. All table service. It is small and not recommended for large groups. Sweet shop had a great selection too.

Small cafe behind sweet shop. Adequate sandwich selection. Bit of a pain having to queue in the sweetshop to pay for the cafe. Polite service. Climbing to the loo not for the elderly or faint hearted.
