Had haddock and chips Saturday - absolutely awful - fish so thin - was just skin and Thick inedible batter - chips cold no flavour - straight in the bin

The chip portions are quite small. Large chips are about the size of a normal portion at the Beccles fish bar. They are also occasionally on the dry side, tasting more like oven chips than the chips you get from a chip shop. I'm not sure if they sometimes cook them first and then reheat them but the ones we had tonight were not particularly nice.I think we will be going back to the Beccles Fish Bar.

Welcome back to normality from lock down blues.Just had a brilliant fish and chips supper out in the garden with family. Straight from the paper.Fish and chips were both lovely and crisp.Thanks to the Superfry team.

What can I say? This place is excellent if you enjoy fish and chips fried in beef dripping. I don't personally enjoy eating here any more as I feel like I've eaten a brick afterwards, but the food is delicious at a good price and fairly quick despite it usually being queued out of the door. They also use local Seppings sausages, which is a great move.

The fish is always freshly cooked and you don't get paper full of grease from the chips. Lovely food and staff.

A crowd hanging around the entrance when I arrived, got told that they were waiting for their order, so was ushered to the top of the shop, when asked what I wanted I said just chips please, expecting to be served immediately as I wasn’t waiting for anything else to be fried. Wasn’t told to go to the till and didn’t know where to stand so just waited where I was.10 minutes later another lady came in and like me she didn’t know the etiquette of the queueing system, so she was ushered to the top end of the shop for her order, then went to the till to pay, turned round and asked what does she do now? A customer then told me to pay or she would get hers before me. Went to the till to pay for “just chips” and was asked if I’d ordered them! Unless they sort out the queueing system and stop all this pre-ordering I will not be going back. The chips were edible, after I’d sorted out the black bits (potato eyes) although I couldn’t finish the portion because they got cold too quickly. Very disappointing because I’d heard good reviews.

Like someone said earlier, if there's a queue, just get in it. Best fish & chips for a long time. All fish cooked fresh so maybe 10 min wait but well worth it. Clean place with friendly staff.

If you like sausages with your chips, this is the place to go.The sausages here are hands down, the best I've ever had!The chips are perfect too, not too greasy, not too dry.I've never had the fish, so can't comment on that.My only problem is that I now live over 10 miles away from Super Fry.But that's hardly their fault!I make an excuse to go there every time I'm nearby however!
