First time visiting for my father in laws birthday. Loved every second, incredible food, amazing staff will be back for sure.

Terrific lunch enjoyed by our family following a boat trip on the Broads.I went for the chicken burger pictured - and left very full up!Great place, very friendly staff and service. Would love to visit again next time we’re in the area.

Dined in had starters pork belly and beans amazing 😍, however wild mushrooms on toast was dripping in oil 🙄. Ordered Sunday roast, was disappointed not traditional Sunday roast: brisket, bacon and ham. Roast potatoes were dry, and Yorkshire puds not fresh. Good selection of veggies, however beans and leek old and tough. 🤔

The food was amazing and loads of it, couldn't eat it all. I had vegetarian nut roast and my niece had turkey and loads of it and loads of well cooked vegetables in bowls. Staff were great. If I lived nearer I'd definitely eat there again.

What a superb BBQ diner at the heart of Lowestoft! The staff were very nice and friendly. We've had a fantastic meal at The Copper Smokehouse this evening. Initially, I was thinking to try the beef brisket when I first saw the menu. To my surprise, the staff has also introduced their special menu to us with different fish dishes, pork and venison on the menu. I wanted to try them all but decided to go for the venison and mushroom fricassee with spinach and egg spaetcles. The homemade pasta was made to perfection with tender venison pieces and a beautiful mushroom sauce - it really was special! The beef short ribs that my husband ordered was also very tasty! After dinner, we've had the pleasure of watching the gorgous sunset at Nicholas Everitt Park which is a couple of minutes walk from the restaurant.

Excellent Sunday roast lunch … perfectly cooked, good selection of veg and meats. Additionally the veggie option was just as good, it certainly wasn’t an afterthought as with many places to eat. The owner took time to explain about the produce used and her passion for the business is evident and this clearly distills through her staff as service was great. The staff were very friendly, chatty and happy. We will definitely be using regularly, it’s great to see a local business busy and being well run.

We have eaten a few times in the restaurant & ordered some takeaways during lock down, every time the food has been amazing.I always look forward to going to the Smokehouse as I know that I am going to get a delicious meal in a welcoming friendly environment. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. If you like a smokehouse, you will not be disappointed.

A superb dog friendly restaurant with well presented great tasting food matched with great service and very reasonable prices. They didn't even mention that we appeared to have been hiking across muddy Suffolk fields. Will definitely be returning.
