What a fantastic place! We came here after a long journey from the north east of England. We did not book ahead so didn't realise that it was fully booked due to it being quiz night. The staff made us feel very welcome and quickly reorganised the tables to fit us in. We were served delicious food (the burgers are amazing) The staff couldn't have treated us any better. They were very attentive even though they were busy. We highly recommended this place.

Excellent Sunday dinners eat in & delivery. Very attentive & friendly service. Went on Mother's Day & even had a lovely gift for Mum.

Needs a little more refurbishment, BUT couldn't fault the ambiance and service was excellent, visited for a wake the buffet was excellent a very good selection of food and very well presented, would like to try for a meal one evening.

We came here with a group of girls and had a lovely evening our waitress Becky looked after us very well and we could not fault the food at all, I had the smoked salmon fish cake with Thai green curry and rice, it was huge and so tasty, never had a bad meal here and as it’s within walking distance so much the better.

Nice place. Good alcohol and friendly bartenders. The perfect drinks for when you realise the world is a horrible place and you're on your way to a 6ft deep hole in the ground where no one will remember you. If you're going to forget your problems, might as well come here.

I wanted to surprise my son and his friends with a cooked breakfast after their works party. The chef at the Frying Dutchman who I dealt with could not have been more helpful if he tried. His telephone communication was great as I needed to slightly delay the time and add another breakfast and he couldn’t be more obliging.Thank you very much.Happy Christmas to you allx

Update. Returned last week as we heard they had Biscoff cheesecake on. Was full after a tasty pulled pork burger but had to try the delicious cheesecake as they had always sold out on our previous visits. It was amazing.Great service. Friendly staff. Covid safe.Good food

Umm, it's ok. But won't be returning. Had high hopes for an interesting musical night, Omegamen a Police tribute band were due on. They came on half hour later than billed 10pm. Played for a bit then all stopped to watch a boxing match on tv.The pub is shabby, drinks fair price double sports for an extra £1.Toilets poor, not many places to sit and very loud.Staff friendly enough and served quick.
