Two bar micro brewery pub with large outdoor space.Serves home brew beers (about 4 on at my visit) alongside a really wide range of guest beers in cans and some on tap.I sampled the gold, mild and Chaucer.Gold had a sweet note throughout, with a light mouth feel, good nutty colour.Mild was markedly stronger than typical. Heavier chocolate notes as a result. Elements of a porter style, with the slightly more bitter edge.Chaucer is, I think, the house bitter. Decent session ale, quite light in style, hoppy elements.All three were lightly carbonated, less so than normal, I’d say.Friendly staff. Comfortable pub. Not messed about with.

Friendly vibrant pub. Has own excellent microbrewery beers on draught plus good selection of other draught and bottle beers. Reasonably priced wine selection. Limited hot food selection Thurs - Sat including veggie options.

A pub of two halves? The beer is brewed on site and is exemplary! The food is a pop-up, which in our case didn't. We encountered long, long waits and unremarkable food. My chili had no chili's in it. Fries and not chips. I rate the Green Dragon a drinkers pub.

Relaxed vibe with friendly and helpful staff. Fish fingers in a bun washed down with super tasty beer brewed on site. My kind of pub!

Lovely pub, absolutely fantastic beers that they brew themselves alongside handpicked guest beers. Really good selection of guest foods in their kitchen as well, and a pizza van sometimes out the front. Dropped a star because of the green not just referring to the Dragon but rather the indulgence of choice among some of the patrons... Not their fault granted but the experience is slightly diminished as a result.

A proper pub with a good range of beers at reasonable prices. Dog friendly too. As at May 2021 they're only doing food Wednesday-Sunday. We visited on a Tuesday 🙄. Nice and friendly bar staff. Covid protocols in place 👍.

Exceptional service, which was conversational, welcoming and engaging. There were some innovative beer options alongside the regular choices, really well thought through. Pub is clean and it feels like a proper community pub which is accessible to all. Very impressed.

Sadly the best pub in East Anglia is unable to sell takeaway beer under the current lockdown. Looking forward to when it reopens as it's a cracking venue - friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, and lots of atmosphere. As for the beer, it has to be sampled to be believed. They have their own brewery on site and always have interesting new beers alongside traditional favourites. Really good value, too.
