Fabulous find! Lovely and friendly pub.Excellent selection of beers, ales, gin and cider (rhubarb cider recommendation!). Serious shout out to Anne the chef! We had a chicken and leek pie and a steak and ale pie with mash and they were absolutely outstanding! Home made pastry and the filling was delicious and the mash was so good. Clean plates all round. Dog friendly and she loved all the fuss. Highly recommended.

Possibly the best pie I have ever had, home made by Anne, great ales and ciders, can’t wait to go back!!

UPDATE - Just had the most amazing lunch for my Dad's 80th Birthday. Dad's day was made even more special by the wonderful kindness from all the staff. Thank you for making his day.Amazing country pub. I had the steak pie, chips and veg and it was amazing. Totally home made. Nothing shop bought or mass produced about the food. Will definitely be returning and making it our regular go to pub. Dogs also made very welcome.

Once upon a time all home made pies and home made chips were almost as good as this. Outstanding. Nicely kept pint too.

First time visit, Sunday lunch awesome, wonderful service, you can never complain about portion size. As Arnie said 'I'll Be Back' Roger

Idyllic surroundings. 5* clean toilets...Always a good sign!Lovely food. If you're like us and can't eat a huge meal for lunch the Owners will ammend to smaller portions.Lovely wine and hubby recommends the ales.Wishing them The Best.Couldn't fault it. X

Excellent pub, excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent staff, excellent service and all in an amazing setting and able to stay in our Motorhome in the car park...... What more could anyone ask for? Can't wait to return to Norfolk to come back again - thank you all so much

There's not a bad word to say about the horseshoes. Fantastic owners that have really made it the heart of the community and more! Great food and great beers with a wide selection of spirits and mixers.We recently had our wedding reception there with the government guided 15 person reception and my word the pub done an absolutely wonderful job! Me, my now wife and our family had an amazing day and so well catered for.Couldn't speak more highly of the place. Highly recommended local pub!

I enjoyed a well kept pint and a reasonably priced meal. Proper crispy lettuce in the salad none of those horrid looking dressed leaves. Dog friendly and attractive decor.
