Stopped here with the family for lunch. The sea bass was a fantastic dish..Inventive menu. Staff were friendly helpful. And sea view in the sun was a good start to Easter. Thank you

Even on a very busy Saturday afternoon service was prompt efficient and the food was great. Perfect after a bracing walk from Lowestoft.

Good pub grub.My husband really enjoyed his burger and my smoked haddock was delicious - I could’ve eaten it twice. The portions of cabbage and bubble should have been bigger. Thank you for not adding the poached egg.Our pudding was lovely, it’s shame you ran out of chocolate ice cream and cherries. The service was excellent - charming and polite, I was very happy to have somewhere to eat on New Years Day - not places are open in Norwich. We’ll be back very soon.

Always love it here. Today my friends and I ate in the bar as only wanted a light lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. I had the sausage and onion marmalade one which comes with chips and salad and was huge and very tasty. Luckily my friend's son ate what I couldn't manage! Very nice lunch !

Large portions, fish cake, plaice and chicken were all tasty, can't even pick a favourite. Exceeded expectations of pub food, more like fine dining. Quick service too. Reasonable prices. One of best spots in Lowestoft.

Visiting my son his wife and grandson we took them for dinner and have to say it was one of the best meals I've ever had. I chose the steak from the specials board it was cooked to perfection full of flavour and complimented with a peppercorn sauce. My husband had the steak n ale pie which was packed full of meat in a great pastry. I was also impressed with my grandsons tagliatelle with Bacon and cheese from the children's menu which was delicious fresh and quality ingredients. Not much room left but we all had deserts which tasted home cooked.I would absolutely recommend.

The atmosphere is great, with good beer and nice view of the sea, friendly staff. I wasn’t impressed with the fish and chips. The chips were a bit dry and the peas seemed overcooked. Partner says the scampi wasn’t great either. But I would come back to drink in a heartbeat!
