We stayed here for 4 nights as Beccles seemed to be pretty central in the Suffolk/Norfolk area to travel out to see different places. The hotel was the first Wetherspoon hotel we have stayed in, but it won't be the last. This hotel is a listed building and has been restored to this Pub/Hotel.Our room was lovely. It was clean attractively done and had all the neccessaries needed for your stay.It was cleaned daily and replenished with bottled water, tea, coffee and if more was needed reception gladly did so. The pub is always busy but not to the extent of not being served.I would deffo stay here if I was in the area again.

Typical Spoons fare. Food service is fast. There is a small outdoor seating area that is dog friendly and another that is not. Nice setting and usual Wetherspoons decor. Plenty of room to sit.

Lovely place to take the family for a meal, plenty of seating and a kids menu. Food and service are great. You walk in, choose a table to sit at, you can order your food and drinks via their app, Or up at the bar, then everything is brought over to you.👌🏻

First time here, different idea of get your own table and then use an app to order food and drinks. plus side is you pick, pay and then can leave whenever you want. downside is need good WiFi to download the app! food was basic but affordable fare, it was satisfying as we're were hungry but I wouldn't go super out of my way for it again. however the vibe is fun, hustling and bustling. it's a game to find a table in the nooks and crannies. I'm so GLAD they had Kombucha. I don't drink so that bubbly non alcohol beverage is nice to have separate from soda pops. husband loved the nachos. decent size for 4 quid. I had a bean chili on jacket potato. it was a good portion but could have been a little hotter, place is so busy it probably sat for a bit in the kitchen. all in all a fun place.

Great value for money. If you want a cheap eat then this is the place to be. Good quality ingredients. How they do it for the price I don't know! Would recommend.

Stay here for one night, not the best. The pub and the rooms are a bit tired. The room we had overlooked the garden area, which was so noisy ( no double glazing) we didn't to sleep until past 1:00am. You can also hear every door bang on the corridor. On the plus side the staff are super friendly.

Really like this pub. It's vast but the service is quick and the curried chips gorgeous!Lots of beer options too which makes me happy!

A warm welcome from the lady at reception she explained everything that we needed to know one of the best check in we have experienced. The room was very big and ultra modern and most importantly very clean.. The food and service was the usual Wetherspoons standard which is always good. This was our first stay at a whetherspoon hotel and certainly won't be our last.

Great prices for drinks and food, but don't expect very big portions. Service was very quick and the staff were friendly. The restaurant is composed of lots of little rooms and spaces, all opening into each other and having original features and beams.
