Great fish and chips! They don't do gluten free batter, but they will fry a fish sans batter and I am just as happy with that!Really tasty fish (comes with a wedge of lemon), great chips, and homemade sauces 😁 all the salt and vinegar is on a shelf so you get to do it yourself which I loved.Bit more expensive than your average F&C but it was worth it.Friendly staff too!

The most AMAZING fish & chip shop! Reasonably priced and fantastic portions. Took 10 minutes for it to be cooked but well worth the wait. Will definitely be returning!

An outstanding fish and chip shop. The menu is purely traditional fare but done extremely well. Our cod tasted 'straight off the boat' fresh and the chips were perhaps the best we've had. So many chippies these days are buying-in ready made chips but these were homemade and so fresh you really could taste the difference. Yes they were pricey (it is Southwold!) but the one choice of portion size was sufficient and the quality made it well worth the money.

Fantastic little chip shop hidden away in Southwold. The staff recommended their family deal for £27 - two adult cod and chips and two children's meals; either sausage and chips or fish bites and chips. All cooked to order and tasted amazing!

Great take away fish 🐟 & chips. Good menu and not expensive, given the very posh location. Plenty of nearby benches with a lovely sea view in the area. They sell bottled beer too. What more do you need.

This small fish and chip shop is usually very busy, but worth the wait. It's a little pricey, which is pretty standard for Southwold. The seating area is very small - so I recommend eating by the seafront. The chips are very good, but not seasoned, so don't forget to season them yourself. Their waiting system includes using an alarm to tell you when your food is ready to collect, which is very effective. Overall great fish and chip shop.

Great fish and chips. Quick and friendly service. Food stayed warm while carried home!

Lovely little fish and chip shop. Easily nice light better and crunchy chips. Not a bad price. £10 for two mini fish and chip special. Also serve wine and bottled beer. Small eat in area. Dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Don't bother and try another fish and chip shop in the area because we wished we had. We saw the queue and the big selection of fish so we were looking forward to trying it. The boy serving was very rude as he didn't like us asking questions about chip portions! My daughter doesn't like fish so the only thing she could have was sausage which I assume that they are not used to cooking as it was charred and inedible as you can see from the photo! The cod portion was very small and mainly batter. We didn't see any of this until we were home and unwrapped it. Such a disappointment as it is always nice to have fish and chips when visiting the seaside.

Great fish and chips! We had haddock and chips and cod and chips - both were delicious, and then also some mushy peas which were good too. Long queue on Friday evening, but that's to be expected for such a popular place!
