Gr8 Country Inn, Burnham Market Area.🥂👏 Visited it couple of times recently when I stayed in Norfolk🌷🌳 with My Dear Cousin Etc. 🐶 Friendly Atmosphere Etc⭐👏 + Very Dog Friendly Etc!!🐶👏 Defo will try their food another time!!😉🦋 Good Place 2 Know About In This Scenic Area Of Norfolk Etc🌳👏...🦋🐻❤😺 🐶😉🥂⭐🌳🌷🌈👏

Very friendly welcome and shown to the table.The menu was good and the food was lovely as was the wine.The only small observation was that our table was in the bar area which at times was a little noisy. The next time we go I will ask for a table in the restaurant area.Overall a very good experience and as we are local we will go back for another visit.

Have a lovely carvery, lovely selection of vegetables, Yorkshire pudding was fantastic, and Beef, Pork and Lamb. Well worth a visit 🙂 Thank to the lovely staff

I went for lunch here with my fiancee a couple of weeks ago with it being the halfway point of an all day hike. The service, food and drinks were all perfect. Even had the chef come out when i asked for some hot sauce, to see how hot i could handle it. I went for as hot as it comes and he walked away laughing and i got what i asked for. More fool me.

Firstly the Open Table booking had not been received by the restaurant, we were given a table as they weren't to busy, The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. I chose the Venison and regretted it. It was extremely tough and burnt and had no flavour, and the fondant potato was Luke warm and tasted like it had been reheated, the kale was gritty, but the celeriac was very nice.My partner had the sea bream and felt it was just OK!I did receive a refund for the Venison dish which I felt was correct, also we received one for the red wine we had with the meal, which I felt was very generous.Unfortunately it was the last night of our holiday and so spoilt a wonderful week!

Lovely stay, room clean and very comfortable. Slept well. Breakfast good choice of cereal, fruit, croissants. Cooked breakfast great, vegetarian sausages were the best I've ever had. Sausage for the dog a lovely touch.😊 We will return.

We booked a table for 5 at the Nelson during our stay in Norfolk, we arrived to be told they thought we said 4 on the phone and there was nothing they could do about it, we suggested sitting outside as the tables were a bit bigger to which we got a rude response of “if you want to”. We proceeded to sit outside and wait 15 minutes for a morbid waiter to come out and take our drink and food order with all the enthusiasm of a dying snail. We proceeded to wait for our drinks for about 30 minutes before we decided we would go elsewhere.

Lets get this right from the start, it was our first visit to the Nelson, people were so friendly...[ ie Richard & Paul who are well known locals...down to earth...hard working..full of banter...] Then we come to the staff..Saraha & Christine... who in our honest opinion are the most helpful, kind, hard working nothing too much trouble ladies you could wish to meet...Now the food...fist night we had Scampi & chips...hot food...warm plates...good size portions...fantastic no issues...2nd night our 20th wedding anniversary...steak and duck being the main order...great taste lovely flavour....[ warm plates]....fantastic food yet again...NO issues what so ever...my final point being...Go to the Nelson...sensible pricing [ not being ripped of at nearly £6 .00 a pint like some other pubs near by]. you will not be disappointed...Thank you...Barry and Linda.

Room was excellent. Stayed in room 7 with my dog and couldn’t have been happier. Nice size room and was immaculate. Had dinner and breakfast both were great. Staff were all friendly as helpful. Will definitely return.

Just been in for a meal and honestly was the best I’ve ever had, food was incredible, staff lovely, polite and welcoming. If you want great food and to not feel hungry after your meal, head down there and treat yourself without breaking the bank. Couldn’t recommend more
