Lovely pub, great atmosphere, beer was good too, sausage and mash was excellent, it was a little noisy, at 77 I am allowed to moan, will visit again.

I would of put 0 stars if possible come in the lady straight away rude didn’t ask anything Just started moaning we come in no hello just rude she said to my family no food and was very unkind about it. I don’t know why but the pub is going down hill absolute shame never coming here again…🖕🏻🖕🏻

Really enjoyed the experience. We were a party of 24 and the food was piping hot, well cooked and good value for money.

Aspall Cyder, Corona with lime and Great Guinness. Will return to try the food another day! Love the Art Deco building, warm, clean and friendly.

Really friendly old pub. The food is very good value, hot and plentyful. They also put on an amazing afternoon tea for us for 16 when we can to lay my Mum in Law to rest. Don't know the lady's name who prepared it but everything was home made including a separate gluten free tea, everything beautifully presented. We were there all afternoon and never rushed. Thanks everyone. 🍒

Not sure if this should get 4 or 5 stars. It depends on what your perception is and what you are comparing it with. It's a bit like walking into a time warp, 30 - 40 years ago. A good old fashioned proper pub. A good selection of beers and other drinks. There is a restaurant area as well as two bars. The food is superb. Good variety on the menu, large portions and everything tastes great. All this at sensible prices with lovely service from smiling staff. Outside there is a large carpark with easy access from the road. All definatly worth a visit.
