Went for a birthday on a busy day without booking and thankfully found us a table, food was yum as always however I wish there was more pub food like bangers and mash lasagne and some less fancy bits but menu from the grill was still delicious. Mac and cheese was a little lacking served in the same bowl as salad bar and was expecting a crispy top. Great service from Penny

Had a meal from the lunch time menu. Bargain. Meal served efficiently and quickly. Jodie our waitress was very pleasant and attentive to our requirements. The meal was very tasty, and we enjoyed it all. First experience at the Potters Kiln and will certainly be coming back. Thank you.

Had a table during the week at peak time. Surprisingly it was very quiet. The food that the 4 of us had was very delicious. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the sauce accompanying the dishes, the flavours didn't quite blend.

My friend and I had a lovely meal. I'd forgotten that, being a Friday night, it would be very busy so they were fully booked. You definitely need to book on a Friday! Our waitress, Emma, was really good. Very attentive, even with it being so busy.

Came for Lunch with my friend and my Daughter this afternoon and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was chilled and welcoming, the food was very tasty and well presented as well as being value for money with 2 courses for only £10.99. Our waitress Angela was a lovely lady, very polite and chatty. Nothing was too much trouble for her. A credit to the team 👏

Food was well presented, and prepared tasted devine the Belly of pork could have been a bit bigger runner beans was specified but got a mix of peas in it. Plenty of salad and rolls at salad bar. And was able to top up unlimited drinks refill great. Had dinner and dessert and that was also lovely good size portion of ice cream on waffles fresh strawberries. Children's food was good and good potions too. They ate most of their food and enjoyed it.Overall a good experience will return in future.

A very convenient restaurant for those staying at Travel Lodge. We were seated and served swiftly. From the lovely selection we chose the Christmas Dinner, it was huge and so tasty. Our waitress Ellie was very friendly and efficient. The decor has a warm Christmas ambiance already. The loos were spotless. Altogether a fabulous visit, we will be back. Thank you so much Ellie. 💜

Friendly staff and warm welcome. Unfortunately our food took over an hour from seating to eating which is way too long when it is already late. I know they were fully booked and didn't expect it really quick but a warning when we ordered or a quick apology from the server while we were still waiting would have taken some of the sting out of the wait. Alternatively an acknowledgement when the food was served might have appeased me. The food was OK. I had ribs and they were not to the quality I expect at a harvester. They were dry rather than moist. Not bad enough to be sent back (especially as I was starving) but they tasted like they had been sat around keeping warm.My sons chocolate brownie desert was the best brownie he'd ever eaten.....and having tasted a bit I agree it was delicious. We were pleased to see the salad bar was still being served rather than self service.

Came here at lunchtime for the first time after visiting the local area. Was greeted by the manager who was very friendly, explained how the salad bar worked and explained the procedures. We then ordered drinks with a really friendly waiter, followed by food and the starters and mains were bought to our table in a timely manner. The food was delicious and really well presented and the prices were good too.Shall definitely return again.
