The Shed Cafe in Waveney

We popped into The Shed for some lunch at the weekend and were very happy with our visit. Although it was busy, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was very good, with generous portions.I ordered the steak and ale pie with mash, peas and gravy and was too full afterwards to try one of their delicious-looking desserts. My partner had the chilli and also enjoyed her meal.There's a nice set-up with the kitchen right next to the eating area. They've made great use of the space available and decorated it nicely. We will certainly be returning for seconds!

They have set breakfasts different sizes however you can opt out of certain items and add extra of what you prefer. All cooked perfectly. My favorite treat.

Had coffee and cake, very clean, polite staff, we went near to closing, but they made us very welcome and we wasn't hurried.

Not very impressed. Took my granddaughter to see the animals in the Garden Village, then went for a coffee at the Shed. Walked through the door at 2.45 to be told they had closed (website and sign on the door says open until 3.00) early. No explanation why. The lady then said we’re not doing hot food, so I said oh that’s OK I only want coffee to which she replied oh, we’ve already cleared all the tables. I turned to go and heard a very sarcastic ‘Oh, thank you then’. It’s got some great reviews which is why I was keen to go so I was quite disappointed by the whole experience.

Went for Breakfast this morning while my car was in for MOT think iv finally found a decent cafe round this way cracking breakfast washed down by two mugs of tea. Made to feel very welcome by all the staff, Will 100% visit again!

Absolutely banging can't recommend this place enough. Staff are extra friendly never had a bad meal from here. Would ring in advance though as can be quite busy at times

Afternoon tea birthday celebration. The tea was very good and they boxed up the cake we could not eat. Although we were offered refills of tea & coffee a tea pot & China cups & saucers would have been welcome.

Best breakfast in the area! Highly recommend to book a table before arriving to avoid waiting for a table as they get super busy 👍👍👍

First time we've been. Fantastic breakfast and everyone so kind and helpful, and a beautiful dessert to take home, was delicious.

Amazing little cafe, my family and I had the most wonderful breakfast, We sat outside, I had the "Belly Buster", which was well worth the £9. Great food and such attentive, lovely, helpful staff. My daughter spilt a full glass of apple juice, two staff members appeared, one with blue roll and the other with a full fresh apple juice at no extra charge, nothing was too much trouble for them.
