We were visiting family in Beccles in our motorhome and were welcomed here for a couple of nights stopover. Claire and her staff could not have been more welcoming. The pub was superbly warm and comfortable and the lovely young lady behind the bar was all smiles and looked after us brilliantly. I strongly recommend the steak - it was tasty, well seasoned and cooked to my request. All the food looked superb cooked by a real chef, lovely experience- thank you

We used to live in the area and returned for old times sake. We were not disappointed. Good food and good service. I am glad we came and we may come back again.

Lovely lunch here today! Very friendly and welcoming staff gorgeous food and a beautiful location. Our son has a dairy allergy and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and really knowledgeable about the menu. They even allowed us to bring our giant dog! Thank you!

Friendly. Great beer. Superb seafood with an oriental twist and if you want something light to eat try the chunky chips topped with cheese and prawns!! All this and dog friendly. Lovely garden and children's play/adventure area

The fish was fantastic as was the home made syrup pudding. Beer was well kept and the service was friendly and attentive. We'd definitely go again.

Ordered the lobster and prawn thermidore. Very disappointing for the £28 cost. About 10 prawns in a tasteless sauce containing fleks of green and red something! Worst bit was, my half (not whole) lobster still had the dead mans fingers attached. I told the waitress, who informed the chef, who denied lobsters have them. How does he expect the lobster to breathe?

A charming village pub-diner. No clutter, no unnecessary advertising, attractive bar area. Attended to immediately but with courtesy. I’m here because they have fish pie on the menu.Eureka, at last a real gem. Everything about the meal was excellent. A glass of Sauvignon blanc to complement the dish and all in all first class.

If you like fresh and delicious seafood, this is the place to go to. Nice seating inside and outside. I would suggest to make a booking first. Staff are very friendly and helpful!
